Cookbook Collector's Recipe Exchange Group discussion

Like most book clubs, we will be reading one cookbook a month. We will meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month to discuss the book in our chat room. This month I have taken the liberty of choosing Ice Cream: A Global History by Laura B. Weiss as the book to read. I have written to her publisher today asking if she will visit us. I will post the details of the chat on our Events Calendar.

At the end of the chat I will randomly choose a member's name and that member will choose the book for the following month. Keep in mind that people have budgets, so try to make sure there is a Kindle or other ebook format like pdf available for a lower cost.

I got the book and am enjoying it immensely! I know you will enjoy it also! It's an easy read. Flows smoothly. I haven't checked the recipes out yet. I'm saving that section for a treat at the end! Don't forget Laura will be chatting with us on August 21st!
