James River Writers discussion

This message board thread is intended for anyone who hasn't finished reading Birds of a Lesser Paradise, so please make every effort not to mention any spoilers in your comments. We have created a separate thread for those who have already finished reading the book.

The author, Megan Mayhew Bergman, will be speaking at our annual James River Writers Conference at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on October 19-20, 2013.

I'm enjoying this read so far. The length of a story is about right for winding down before bed each night, plus there's something about the settings that makes each believably familiar (having read the first three stories, at least). There's a definite Southern feel.
