This is the fifth in this wonderful series about forensic archaeologist Dr. Ruth Galloway. She has met some very interesting characters from the police world as well as the academic and criminal world in this series. Ruth has served as an advisor to the local police force in several cases and always manages to endanger herself as well. Always a cliffhanger as to her relationship with Chief Detective Harry Nelson, the father of her only child, Kate. Fast moving, interesting characters with a lot of British history thrown in.
