I fell a little behind in reading these books - I didn't realize you were reading one every 15 days. But now I'm caught up, finished the Sign of the Unicorn in two days just after reading the Guns of Avalon.I found it strange that Corwin hasn't sought out Dworkin for advice or information. I know he hasn't had that much spare time, but that seems like an important step, especially with the Jewel of Judgement. And then... why is Fiona warning him when she's the traitor?
If I understand correctly, all of Corwin's family consider Dworkin to be completely crazy and unreliable.

Sorry for any confusion.....I brought it up a while ago. The books just don't seem long enough to read for a month each. And 10 months seem a little stretched out.
;)
Feel free to add anything to past threads (books). There is a lot of information in RZ's books. I know we haven't gone over everything.
At the end I thought it might be interesting to have a thread discussing the whole series. There is a lot of information and questions that continue to unfold.

We finally meet Brand (and Flora I believe is also introduced here). I like how Zelazny introduces the siblings by increments per book. Plot aside, it would probably have been an overload if all the siblings were around from the start.
Actually...we met Flora in the first book.
:)
Fiona is introduced here though.
"Fiona ---- five-two, perhaps, in height ---- green eyes.......
reminded me, as always, of something from which the artist had just drawn back, setting aside his tools,.....
The place at the base of her throat where his thumb had notched the collarbone always drew my eyes as the mark of a master craftsman, especially when she raised her head, quizzical or imperious, to regard us taller others."

Tir-na Nog'th
Silence and silver… Walking away from the rail, leaning on my stick, passing through the fog-spun, mist-woven, moonlight-brushed fabric of vision within the troubling city… Ghosts… Shadows of shadows… Images of probability… Might-bes and might-havebeens… Probability lost… Probability regained…
Basically....the reflection of Amber in the sky only appearing in the moonlight at night.
As for it being Tir'Na'Nogh
it's possible RZ did use this as he has used other myths and ideas from this earth.
It also reminds me a little of Brigadoon.

Still thinking about Amber and how the Royal Amberites think it is the best of everything.
Now .....I know.....everyone will not agree, but.....
how can Amber not have coffee?
Or something as good or better?
;D

In terms of Dworkin being crazy, yes, the family thinks he's crazy and Corwin doesn't clearly disagree, however Corwin does seem to often think about the fact that he knows Dworkin is alive in the dungeons and no one else does and that this knowledge is valuable and Dworkin educated the bad guys, allowing them the capability to do damage.

:(
But as always I'm enjoying the heck out of it!
:D
Maybe by tonight.
