Mystic Island discussion

RP

Janey followed Carter into the orchid, sighing with relief when she saw the apples. She was so hungry.
"Lets eat!" She shouted, excited.

Carter laughing nodded his head. "Fine, just be a little careful. I wouldn't want anything wrong with the apples go ad effect you" He warned her softly.

Janey rolled her eyes, but nodded. "Ok." She walked around the trees, until she found a nice red juicy one, that was way high up. So she did the logic thing. She climbed the tree. She was leaning over to get the apple, on a branch she though was sturdy. But it wasn't. Just as she was about to grab the apple, the branch broke and she fell.

Janey screamed as she fell, 20 feet at the most. She tried to land on her feet...big mistake. She heard something crack as she hit the ground. Following the crack was a world full of pain, all she could see was red, until her head hit the ground, and she was knocked unconscious.

Carter freaked out, for more than the fact that she just fell 20 feet. He was half a vampire, despite that he didn't have to, need to, nor was anyone else in their family. He still had that drawing to blood, that craving. He ran over, panicking as he tried to think of something to help. His eyes trying hard to not look at her blood, the way it hit the floor. He concentrated on her at hand, his arms shaking her wildly in hopes of waking her up.

Janey moaned, and forced her eyes open. The pain was overwhelming. She looked around, and saw that her leg had a huge gash in the side, her ankle was bent backwards, and her hand was swollen.
She began to cry. It hurt so bad. She didn't think that through. If she could go back, she would definatly not climb that stupid tree.

Carter looking her over, taking her hand. He didn't know what to do, well, he didn't for a while. Closing his eyes with a sigh as he got up, before just sitting back down. He did the only think he could think of what could help her, the village being hours away and that wasn't going to be soon enough. He sighed down, trying to think straight, just sitting there as he tried desperately not to panic.

Janey's ankle was now four times the normal size, and was black, blue and purple. She knew she broke it. Her hand was swollen also, but she wasn't sure what she did with it. She had stopped crying, si now she could look at her let better. The cut was five inches long, and about two inches deep. She knew that if she didn't cover it up soon, it would get infected.
"Carter....Let go of my hand please." She asked him softly. she needed her working hand to rip her shirt up, so she could cover her leg wound.

((Sorry, I just moved all the way to Florida, and it turns out I left my computer cord in a hotel. And my phone didn't work in America. And then we bought a house and such, and I just now got a computer cord. :P It was a long couple weeks))

Carer sighed, letting go as he took off his shirt entirely. Ripping off pieces to wrap tightly around her waist before he realized he'd had to snap it back into place, causing him to bit his lip. "Sorry-I'm gonna nee to push it back into place though..." He admitted. Course being a half vampire had it's perks such as the fact that he seemed to be toned whether he worked out or not.

Janey took a deep breath. Preparing herself for the pain she was about to endure.
"Ok." She gave him a weak smile, to show him she would be ok. This was probably really hard for him.

Carter wasn't a doctor, but that didn't mean he was a complete idiot about this sort of stuff. "Count of three, alright? One..." He snapped it back into place right then, surprise always seemed to lessen the pain as he flinched slightly, taking a good tare of his shirt and wrapping it tightly around her ankle to keep it in place as he whispered a soft "You might not want to walk on that."

Janey held back tears as he popped it in, but the immediate relief that came after felt so good.
"Ya...probably not." Janey said with a half smile, exsamaning her hand. It was swollen, but it didn't feel or look broken. It just kinda hurt.

"Anything else hurt?" Carter asked her, looking up to Janey and biting his lip as he looked her over. Seeing her hand and sighing. "Your hand then..." he just about sated, grabbing it gently and running his fingers over it as he concentrated. Seeing as every vampire- or in his case half vampire had a gift. Or in some cases curse. He had healing. Though it took a lot of energy out of him as he held her hand, closing his eyes that had turned a Eire yellow and keeping his head facing down knowing he was glowing.

"Carter...what are you doing?" Janey asked wearily. She gasped as he began to glow. "Carter...you're glowing!" Janey was slightly freaked out. She had no idea what he was doing, and he was oddly stroking her injured hand. Which was also kind of weird.

Carter knew it was all weird, though within 10 seconds there was a flash of light as Janey's hand and ankle was healed. Carter swaying slightly on his knees. "Yea, I know I glow-I don't sparkle, but I do glow when I heal" He mumbled dizzily. It always wore him out do to things like this, no matter what it was.

"Carter...come sit by me." Janey patted a spot next to her. She felt bad. She was awful at being comforting and that sort of thing...but she could try for the guy she liked...a lot.

"Don't worry, I'm alright, Hater"
Carter mumbled, shaking his head for a moment as he tried to collect himself. Swallowing hard and shaking off the thought.
"Just what happens when I heal, you know?"
Though regardless he felt himself sit down next to her, unsure really of why she wanted him there.

"Oh...will I just want to sit by my boyfriend..potato." Janey said with a small smile as she laced her fingers through his...waffle style. His hand was warm, and big. Just the way she liked it. She smiled up at him. "Thanks. For everything."

"It's not problem, really. I did everything in a way so that now my life's honestly a beautiful thing. Because as much as this-Island, is beautiful and big and mystic and shiz. It's full of more life than death, if you look at it just right that is, it's the only way I can see it now a days." Carter sighed, loving the hand holding waffle styleness that they were doing with their hands. It was rather hard to actually believe she was his.

Janey grinned up at him. "Its the way I see everything." She rested her head on his shoulder, almost asleep. The falling out of a tree, and breaking her ankle was all very tiring. But she had no room to complain since Carter had just used all his energy healing her.

Aubrey finally approached the Orchard. She was out of breath seeing as she ran the whole way. that forest was creepy. And She was creeper out by the unicorns.

"Ah, well. To be honest, I think I like the way you see everything it's so-fresh, beautiful. It's hard to really take that all in when you know you might never age past adult hood. Course, we don't know that for sure, it's a fifty fifty thing to be honest, some do, some don't." Carter sighed with a shrug, hearing and smelling Aubrey from across the Orchard. "Someones here" He stated, taking in a deep breath as he turned his head.

Janey looked up, and saw Aubrey. "Hey Aubrey." She said with a wave. Aubrey approached walked off, and sat across from them.
"Hope you dont mind if I come over and hang out with you." She said with a smile.
"Nope. Don't mind at all."

Carter gave a nod as if to say 'go right ahead' as well as giving a hand signal that it was alright as he smiled to Aubrey. "Lose interest in Thomas already?" He teased, though he knew she didn't, he just had that kind of feeling about it as he chuckled shortly with a lop sided smile.

Aubrey giggled. "Nope! He's taking a nap. He hasn't slept in days. I felt bad." Aubrey said with a half smile.
"Hey Aubs could you get me an apple?" Janey asked, staring at the big juicy one she tried to get earlier.
"Sure!" Aubrey climbed up the tree, leaned forward, grabbed the apple, and cclimbed back down. "Here you go."
"Thanks."

Carter had a slight vision of Aubrey just falling from the tree. Or maybe he was just over reacting again, he wasn't entirely sure. He knew Ash could see how everyone would die- And sometimes he himself caught flashes from it. Though as she came back down he let out a breath eh didn't know he was holding. "That Apple better be worth it, Janey" He warned her playfully.

Janey nodded. "No kidding...but it helps that Aubrey doesn't way as much as me." She said with a half smile.
"No! We way the same!" Aubrey protested. She hated it when people said that...ya Aubrey was skinny...but that was because of her real dad. He never ever fed them. And her mom was always working. The only food she got to eat was school lunches.

Carter just watched. Being smart enough to not make a comment on their weight. That was one zone he knew was a big mine field. Trouble was, every step you took no matter what blew you up. Something he wasn't prepared to let happen.

Janey rolled her eyes, by dropped the subject. She took a big...big bite of her apple and sighed. It was so good.
"Yummmmmm" She said, obviously pleased. Aubrey glanced at the tree.
"I think I want one now." She smiled and began to climb up the tree, searching for the perfect apple.

"If she falls I don't know how much energy I have left to help her" Carter sighed a bit jokingly as he laid back on the grass. Just taking in the sun light on his skin. It felt nice, ready, a small tinge of burn came from him as he laid there. Though it was better than burning to ashes he supposed.

Janey giggled. "Dont worry...Aubrey is pretty agile." She said with a grin. She layed down next to him and smiled. "Aubs...a little to your left is a really red one. Looks good." Aubrey nodded, and leaned, gently plucking the apple from the tree, and jumping down.
"Yes! Thanks Janey."

Carter sighed, nodding his head. "I know, but she looks.....So...Fragile" He sighed with a soft shrug, managing to put that in before Aubrey jumped down. "And you always look so, strong, perfect, amazing, care for me to go on?" He asked Janey with a questioning stare.

Janey giggled and looked into his eyes. She shrugged. "If you want to.." She said with a wink. Aubrey rolled her eyes and took a bite of her apple. It was a good one. She watched her cousin and Carter. They were pretty cute together. If they got married and had kids they would have ginger babies!! Aww....cute. She thought with a grin.

Carter chuckled, nodding his head. "Well, I would. But I don't want Aubrey to start singing that whole kissing in a tree song over it" he teased her, coming up in a small curl up and kissing her cheek before doing back down with a sigh.

Janey smiled. "Nah...Aubrey might think it, but she wont sing it because I can do it right back to her." Janey turned to Aubrey. "Right Aubrey?" She asked, a teasing smile on her lips.
Aubrey nodded. "Yup. I'm going to enjoy my apple. You guys can talk all lovey dovey." She told him before taking another bite.

"Oh so we can?" Carer wiggled his eye brows before looking to Janey and giving her a suggestive look. "Well, it's up to Janey if she's prepared for me to go all crazy on her with a whole speech" He teased her, judging Janey's side with a small smirk.

Aubrey rolled her eyes, and prepared herself for a lot of cute romantic stuff. Aubrey was a sucker for that. Janey smiled, and stroked his cheek with her thumb gently. "Lets hear this speach..." She said with a large grin.

"Okay, so. Dear, Hater.
I met you...." Carter started off, looking down to an invisible watch that ever existed on his arm. "Close to a day ago, actually, not even a day ago. If you can believe that" He chuckled. "And so far we've already given each other nicknames. Course, they aren't the romantic type. But who needs romance when so far all you've done is ride unicorns together at the time" He felt all awkward as he tried to find good words to say but failed.

Janey laughed. "You know...I think that I like the none romantic nicknames best potato. Your doing great. keep going." Janey said with a grin. She knew he felt awkward...but Janey thought it was adorable. She was glad she met him. What she couldn't believe was that he was hers. That was what she had to keep pinching herself for.

Aubrey smiled at his cute awkwardness. They were adorable together. She layed down across from them, and closed her eyes. A cat nap wounded nice.

"Well-uh-" Carter thought for a moment, frowning his eye brows together as he thought. "Well for starters I loved it when you shot fire from her hands at that shadow guy, that was rather awesome-Sure that wasn't romantic but god do you have to teach me that. Whether you like it or not." He felt himself laugh as grabbed her hand, holding in our classic waffle style as he flashed her a small smile on his face.

((Haha Aubrey gets wounded all the time...she needs some serious help! ;) ))

Janey laughed. "All right...I'll teach you my magical hand trick." She said with a big smile as he grabbed her hand. She gave it a gentle squeeze as she heard Aubrey sit up, suddenly interested in what they were saying. 'She shot fire out if her hand...at a shadow dude...that's not normal.' Aubrey thought, confused.

((XD I was just surprised when she didn't fall from the tree! :P))

Carter tried to copy her, though he didn't get fire, not the slightest trace of it, instead in his hand was more like a hurricane closed his eyes, concentrating. He felt like he just completely failed at making fire.

((Haha I didn't feel like writing an ingury...too lazy!! :) ))

"I just imagined it...and it happened!" Janey told him. "You have to believe it." She instructed with a smile. She straightened out his hand, so it was like a five.

((XD And I didn't feel like healing one, so if she got hurt she'd just had to live with her mistake :P))

The more Carter tried, the more and more he just kept getting things mostly related to air. "I am imagining it!" He sighed with a groan, falling back onto the gound. Closing his eyes. "I'm just a fail at life!"

Janey stared in awe. "Carter maybe your power isnt fire, its air. Look." She couldnt believe he could shoot air. That was cool

"But I want fire" Carter complained, to which he created a small tornado when he said "Fire ball! Annnnd, it failed." He sighed in defeat. Looking back to his hands. "Which won't you spit out fire!"

Janey smiled. "Carter...I think air is way cooler." She said as she held out her hand. She made a small spark of fire dance around on her hand. "All I can do it burn stuff. You can make tornadoes, hurricanes, wind storms...I just make burning stuff." Aubrey was wide eyed. She held out her hand, and imagined fire coming out as well. But instead of Fire..or Air, she got a small stream of water.
"Sweet!" She exclaimed, as she made more streams.
