Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a fifth grade teacher and writer. I've recently self-published my first book, Welcome to Harmony. It is middle-grade fiction and full of magic and monsters. I'm a fan of Neil Gaiman, Charles de Lint, and Rick Riordan (specifically the Percy Jackson series).

One of my all time favorite series is the fantasy series "Maximum Ride" by James Patterson. I like the author Diana Lopez. I recently finished A Wrinkle in Time and I really liked that. I loved the historical fiction book Esperanza Rising. I like reading books that are recommended to me because I am very indecisive and drive myself crazy looking for a book I would like.

I also loved "A Wrinkle in Time"!

Actuall I was born and raised in Ohio, but I like doing impressions lol! My all time favorite book is Watership Down, and i am Number Four is a close second:D Two totally different books though...

;-) Glad to have you here! We talk about lots of books, and I totally get what you mean. If you examine my favorite books (let's be honest, there are way to many) then you will find that although I am an ardent historical fiction lover, I also like realistic and the occasional fantasy book.

Hi I'm Rhaine and I've loved reading since before I could read. My favourite genre to read is historical fiction, especially the Tudor era. However I'm really starting to get into Dystopian fiction as well. I'm really looking forward to talking to other ya books lovers. :)
