Johnny slowly walked in. He looked a bit frightened.

Athena dragged Artemis into the dining hall "Come on its okay" Athena whispered to her twin sister.

Artemis shook her head "No what if they are in here" Artemis pointed out in a very quiet voice.

"Then I'll protect you" Athena declared as she continued into the room, where she saw Johnny. "Lets go make a friend" Athena said and pulled her sister over to Johnny. "Hi I'm Athena and this is my sister Artemis" Athena smiled brightly at Johnny.

Artemis looked around making sure that they were the only ones in the dining hall. She didn't say anything, as she never did when she was around new people.

Johnny smiled at them. "H-hi. Im Johnny."

((I'm sorry I took so long to reply, I just got a new computer and its really slow then it decided to stop working))

Athena nodded "Are you new to?" She asked, curiously as it would be nice to know they weren't the only new kids.

Artemis grabbed Athena's hand as a teacher walked into the room, she didn't want to draw any attention to the trio. "An adult is in here Thena" Artemis whispered into Athena's ear nervously.

"Artemis its alright we haven't done anything wrong" Athena assured her twin, with a slightly annoyed sigh "At least not yet" She added so quietly that only Johnny and Artemis could hear her.

Artemis gave Athena a 'Don't you dare' look.

Johnny nodded. "Y-yes, Im new here."

"So are we" Athena told Johnny.

Johnny smiled, not feeling so alone or scared anymore. "Cool."

"Wanna be our new best friend?" Athena asked.

Johnny became very excited. He nodded his head, quickly. "Yes please."

Athena smiled widely, before turning to her sister "You haven't said anything to our friend" She said and put her hands on her hips.

"Hi" Artemis murmered, not ready to talk around Johnny yet or anyone besides her sister.

Athena rolled her eyes "I'm sorry Johnny, she isn't very social" Athena said with a shrug.

"It's ok. Im just happy to have friends."

Maria walked in joyfully her bloody mouth still a little cut but she smiled. Abby followed behind a little shyly but Maria said hello to everyone including the new people. She had gotten hit already so she didn't care if she did again.

Johnny jumped onto Maria's head, and sat there.

Maria smiled. "Why hello there buddy.I'm mariantonietta but you can call me Maria . And you may he?"She asked smiling and petting his head sweetly.

Johnny smiled and crawled down, and then hugged her. "Im Johnny. You can call me Fox."

Maria laughed . " how adorable.. Fox. I'm guessing your new here.. So you can stick with me if you want. I love New kids. " Maria said smiling sweetly. She hugged him back nicely and laughed.

Abby jumped when Johnny came over, despite the fact she was older then him.

Athena walked over to Maria, Johnny and Abby. "Hello" She said politely.

Artemis walked behind her sister, her head down as not to bring attention to herself. She was even more nervous now that there were more people in the room.

Maria smiled and laughed. "Why hello there!welcome!!" She said nicely. "My name's mariantonietta but call me Maria I'd you'd like. "She said happily. "This here's Abby !"She said motioning to Abby.

Abby waved with a shy smile.

"I'm Athena and this is my sister Artemis" Athena said as she pulled her sister out from behind her, so they were standing side by side.

Maria clapped her hands excitedly. " oh how nice!! New friends.Abby!!".She said a little loud. Abby flinched and Maria covered her mouth giggling.." Sorry my dear sweeties. I tend to be a little loud sometimes. " Maria replied.

Johnny's stomach growled. He looked up at them all, looking a bit sad.

Athena giggled along with Maria "I like you" She smiled up at the teen. She turned to her twin "Artemis don't you like her as well"

Artemis gave her sister a look saying 'I don't want to be here.' Athena frowned, getting annoyed with her sister. "Just say hi Artemis how else do you think your going to make friends" Athena sighed.

"We could get in trouble" Artemis whispered into Athena's ear. Athena turned to Maria.

"Can you tell my sister she won't get in trouble for just talking" She asked.

Maria hands food to Johnny. "Here yah go bud. Eat up. " She said messing his hair up. "You won't get in trouble if you talk without getting caught. I get hit all the time nut as I like to say.. someone's gotta stand up to them.but dontcha worry. You guys are my sweeties and I'll protect you." She said smiling cheerfully. She ruffled Johnny s hair and stood up. "Now if you excuse me.I gotta get some water. You guys make yourself comfortable with Abby" She said skipping off.

Johnny started to eat the food, happily.

Abby nibbled slightly on her food, slipping some of it onto the twins plates. She didn't eat much and was willing to share with the 7 year old girls.

"Thank you" Athena said to Abby with a smile. Artemis smiled at Abby in thanks knowing the girl would understand.

Abby smiled back at the girls "Its no problem" She told them.

Maria soon came with water for all of them." Here. " She said giving each of them a glass." Now Fox. Don't go on eating to fast. It to hurt your tummy."She replied smiling as she drank water. Abby dropped her water shakily and a disciplinary came. He got ready to hit her but Maria stopped him. "Sir. It was me not her." She said . The man growled and smacked.her.in the back of the neck making her.lurch forward hitting her mouth on the table. Her back then being hit by his other hand. Maria smiled wearily at them all as the man left. "I hope to have lunch with you everyday. It gets a little lonesome for me and Abby." She said.simply wiping her bloodied mouth.

Artemis watched as Maria took the hits for Abby "Why?" She questioned, speaking as quietly as she could.

Athena looked at Artemis, half proud and half confused at her sisters question.

Abby finished eating, and sipped at her water careful not to drop it again.

Maria simply smiled and drank her water.

Johnny cowered in fear when Maria was beaten.

Artemis continued to look at Maria "Why?" She insited, speaking a bit louder.

Maria smiled. "Like I said I'll protect you." She saw Johnny and petted his head. "Don't worry little dude." She said softly.
