I need help fixing the author page! I get an error message saying I can't update!

The name is supposed to read Kupuna Kane not Kapuna Kane.

So only two of my four books/reviews are showing up.
Can someone please help?

This is my dad: Barry Hawkins.

There are two issues:

One, he comes up as being Barry T. Hawkins but when you search with the "T" in "add book/author" nothing comes up. Only a search for "Barry Hawkins" will work. Is there a way to fix this?

Two, he is on Goodreads but barely and he has no motivation or time to modify his author record. He he had his autobiography in the book description fields. I want to put this in his bio instead but GR won't let me edit it since he's on GR and therefore "responsible for editing his own" stuff. He's not going to do it and we're not close so I don't have any leverage to push him, and we live on opposite sides of the US so I can't even go over there and just get him to log in for me so I can do it. But I'd like to at least put the info there if not a photo.

Author Biography: Barry Hawkins is the author of two previous Gil Beach novels, which have sold over 20,000 copies. His background includes such varied work as a college professor, professional ventriloquist, medical attendant, psychotherapist, minister, as well as his current occupation of Addictions Program Director for a large New York county. He is a member of the Mystery Writers of America, and has won national awards for his short story and poetry writing as well as penning books and helping aspiring writers. He was born in Seattle, but now lives in the Hudson Valley, where he is working on his next novel.

Is there anyway to get this up there without my awkwardly trying to get my dad to do it? I'm not adding any info that isn't on the published paperbacks.

Sorry, but no. Once a profile has been claimed, we don't add content to it without the request coming from the author themselves. Some authors prefer not to have a bio listed on Goodreads.

As far as the add book/author widget, "Barry T. Hawkins" works just fine. "Barry T Hawkins" won't, though.
