the ending was... average...it could've been so much better...
but i spent so much time slogging through the rest of it...
and to be honest it was just...
anticlimatic...
:(
I would say i want Ally Condie to write another book to tie up the loose ends but to be honest i don't think i'd make it though the first 3 chapters...
I was waiting for other thing... It wasn't memorable, maybe too perfect for the main characters... When Ky was ill I was waiting for him to recuperate so it wasn't a surprise... Maybe it has been better if one of them had died...
i wanted to know about Patrick and Aida Markham and Ky's Parents and Matthew Markham NONE OF IT WAS EXPLAINED
I feel like the last book was horrible...... Like the 1st 2 were amazing!!! and this one was so boring..
it needed to have an epilogue or something. the ending was absolutly HORRIBLE! it left me alone with a bunch of questions. like r they gonna keep matching? plus many many more questions. i think there definatly needs to be a 4th book,
if she could write an ebook (similar to the way patrick ness closed up the ending of "Monster of Men with the ebook "snowscape"), i would be VERY happy... i wouldnt make it though another whole book though, no wayy :')
Lisa wrote: "I was kind of disappointed. It has a happy ending but somber at the same time. I felt left hanging."i totaly agree i mean the book got me very mad once i realized she wasnt going to be with Xsander but i kept reading and i had so many questions but nothing answered it confused me like not normal
I think that the ending would've been better if Ally Condie had written about flying the villagers to the otherlands. Maybe she'll write a sequel or a story about the journey? I also think that she should have revealed who won the vote. I was really looking forward to that!
I totally agree! I REALLY was thinking this book would be epic with lots of action and harsh decisions and sacrifices. But that end felt really abrupt, there really should've been an epilogue or something...

That's also why fans write their own stories based on the authors' books. There are a lot of amazing writers out there:)
I didn't like the ending at all! It was a nice closure, but it wasn't satisfying for me, as a reader! I'm so upset Cassia doesn't end up with Xander; I'm even more upset about the fact that closure for Xander is for him to settle for an aquaintance instead!

You kind of had to figure that she didn't want to be matched by someone the society chose. Technically, she matched herself up with Ky, and that gave me some sort of hint that she was going to end up with Ky.
Honestly, I don't even fully remember what happened. I loved the 1st book, but the 2nd and 3rd were not as good for me. The ending must not have been much since I can't even remember it clearly.
i really didn't like the ending. it was to obvious and i think she should have explained more. it really bothers me because the ending could have been so much better.
