Its mean. Everyone has the right to be treated equally. You shouldn't be treated differently if your skin is darker than everyone else or if you have an accent.

Totally. My mom has been getting me a ton of treatments and has given me these expensive face washes, lotions, creams...ect. Just to make my skin whiter :( i dont mind being an. Im not dark skinned.....not really, im just slightly tanned. My mom thinks that i look ugly :( my skin is practically like an american's now after using those products for a year. I'm planning on going to the park a lot once i go home and get my natural color back. My mom will be upset but whatever. If someone wants ot fall in love with me, they need to love ME not my skin. If my fair skin attracts you......go get a life.

I'm sure you are beautiful with your natural skin :)
Well, we were both born with fair skin, she took care of hers so its still fair, i.......well i sort of wasnt much like other girls. I didnt care about how i looked and got tanner and tanner.
Did you guys hear about the complaints that people sent into Cheerios cereal for airing a commercial with a black daughter, her black father and his white wife? (Sorry if that sounds racist, just trying to get a point across). I think those complaints were stupid. Family is family, no matter what the skin color or cultural background.
A group of Indian boys at school were being racist, about the colour of my skin. They picked me out from a group of my friends to make fun of me due to hoe pale my skin is. I admit I was racist to them to get them to back off and leave me alone. However, they decide it was a good idea to throw rocks at me during my walk home..My arm was bruised and no one helped me, because they would say that I brought it on myself for being racist, but they were racist first, they started it. No one ever sticks up for white people that have been bullied due to racism..
I forgot to add that the leader of the group spat in my face.

Just because you're white, it doesn't mean you have to marry a white person and just because you're black doesn't mean you have to marry a black person.
Here take from friends home with you if you do that again. People are stronger in a group also call them racist and stand up for your self

Exactly. Oh, and when I was in my fourth grade class other students said annoying things to me because of my background being Hispanic/Latina. Like when we would sit down for a test, one girl said: Hey Mexican Girl, do you need our teacher to dub the paper in Spanish for you? Some people can be so ignorant <______>
Nephilim wrote: "Say do I need to ask the teacher to dub the test in stupid for you ."I wish I would have thought of that comeback back then
All you have to do is think and good comebacks come to you. Anyway it took me a minuet for me to think of that .
This is going to sound bad and please don't judge me. I'm not racist, there are just certain types of people I will never get on with. My family are extremely racist my step-dad grew up in the 50's so racism was pretty bad then. They judge people, based on the way they look, the colour of their skin and their accent. Sometimes I go along with it to fit in, since my mum thinks i'm a nazi sympathizer just because I like German bands, and one of my friends is half-German.
My mum all thinks, that any white woman, that has children with a non white man is a whore. I don't want to be judged by my family, so that's why I always pick white men, since it is my preference anyway. I wouldn't want the poor guy to have to put with with my family's racist point of view.
What happens if I were being bullied at work and it was racist bullying? If your white, who can you report it to, if a group of people or one person is being racsialy abusive. I'm not working, but I ws curious what I should do, if this happens.
I mean, If a white women working in an office had to put up with a black man making racial remarks, and judging her for the colour of her skin for example.

What's the point of being racist? Really. All it does is create hurt feelings and resentment. Peole who are racist are most likely insecure with themselves, so they think that they have to pick on others who seem different to them just because of their skin color or cultural background.
Narnian525♥♪ wrote: "What's the point of being racist? Really. All it does is create hurt feelings and resentment. I've always felt sorry for the person who was the victim but never the guilty.
There's a maths teacher in my school that's Indian in descent, and while I don't specifically like him, it's not because of the colour of his skin. Anyway, he was trying to regulate the people going onto the school bus (because the group was really messed up) and kids started cussing at him, and one person actually had the nerve to say 'Go back to your own country,' and that made me incredibly mad.

I was just at a friends place and we watched "To Kill a Mockingbird.

I feel sorry for him.
