message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

I know. -^O^-

My mom had that Atari 2600 Asteroids game...she told me I was making her feel old when I got an Atari. xD

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Hehehe. :D

My dad was telling me about one day back when he was a kid when the Atari was still new. He said where he lived he was used to people getting new bikes for Christmas and the day after Christmas everyone would be outside riding their new bikes. But one Christmas(probably the Christmas of 1979) he came outside the day after Christmas and he was about the only person outside with a bike because everyone else was inside playing an Atari 2600 that they had gotten for Christmas. xD

I know...I think Atari sold about 1 million or so 2600's for the 1979 Christmas season. :O
