Here's an in-depth explanation on how the cover categories (CC) work


Let's say the CC called is single woman, then your team might read the following:

team member 1
team member 2
team member 3

You may choose any genre to read as long as the cover works for what's called. And you don't have to finish the book before the next CC is called, but when/if your team starts to get 3 or 4 in a row you'll want to concentrate on getting those books done first.

Also, when you finish a book all you have to do is post what book you read, the dates you read it (start and finish), your rating, and your review (you can copy & paste it or just post a link to it - whichever is easier). Once all members of a team have read a book for the CC, your captain will let me know and I will stamp your card.

You can all read the same book, all read different, or two of you read the same and one different - whatever you want. The cover just has to match whatever is called.

Ok, I was out of town but am back now and have found the book I am going to read. It is Rancher's Refuge by Linda Goodnight and it has 2 dogs on the cover. Just starting it this evening.

I think I'll be reading Merlin's Blade. I also plan on starting/reading an extra book this week to go towards the free space.

I think I'm caught up now ... just in time for a new category. :) (Fingers crossed it's not "butterfly"!)

I'm around 40% done with my weapon book (it's taking me a lot longer to finish this one than I had anticipated) and 24% done with my couple book (enjoying it a lot so far). I'm hoping the next category is blue, snow, or orange - that way we'll be one stamp closer to a bingo. :)

Week four: Hat

This seems like a really easy cover to find - so many of my to-read books have hats on the cover. :)
