totally confused for awhile about this too. Hats off to the author for the trilogy but she did leave some fuzzy parts that could've been written with a bit more clarification. Jesse did sleep with Mikael's exwife during the 4 day absence but the exwife isn't Coral. Coral was the wife of that member of The Manor who caused trouble and had the police get involved. So Jesse was telling the truth when he said he didn't sleep with her for months.

We never met mikel wife, well not really she turned up to see Jesse in beneath this man when he was not seen for 5 days (when he was in his drunken coma)
If you remember Clive says a women came by but he would by let her up and Ana tried ages to get the cctv.
Jesse admitted later that she was one of them women he had sex with in the 4 day breaks.
Coral is a wife of someone at the manor the one who blurted things out to Ana in this man Jesse had sexual relations with her before he met Ana but she fell in love with him and then tried to cause trouble.
