This is THE only YA series that I liked better than The Hunger Games! It was amazing, and I CAN'T wait for Allegiant.

It was pretty good until Tris and Four started getting into a relationship. No thank you.
I'm probably still going to read the next one though.

I'm especially glad that Ms. Roth didn't make it a love triangle.

I know! I think a love triangle would be too cliché...besides, I love the story because there's so much going on, besides I like Jeanine A LOT as a villain. I love how Veronica Roth makes the characters so real, and I hope to meet her! ^_^

I've bought the first book but haven't started it yet...

This was a fairly good book. I loved it the first time I read it, and I fangirled over it sooo hard before it had a fandom, but then I reread it several times and I just realized the writing wasn't very good and I became uninterested.

I am In love with this series and absolutely CANNOT WAIT for Allegiant to come out! I agree with Leah that Divergent is better than Hunger Games, even though I do really like The Hunger Games.

I loved the first book, but I find it hard to get into Insurgent right now.

Oh! Me and my sister saw them filming Divergent in Chicago, how cool is that?

At least it wasn't a love triangle, and although the romance wasn't the best, I do love Tris. She can stand up for herself.

OMG, I'm only half way through Insurgent

I hate how almost everyone depends on Erudite. I also pity Amity for being such pushovers :(

I love the books and im halfway through insurgent too! If i was there i really dont know if id rather be a brave dauntless or a hippie happy amity ^_^

I loved the entire series! Allegiant was a bit too sad though. Divergent was the best according to me.

Im almost done with Insergent. I love he book so far but I feel liks Tris and Tobias's relationship is a little akward.

I do like this book, and a lot of the themes that it stands for-which is one of the main reasons that I'm very nervous about what the media is going to do to the movie-but the second and third book are very disappointing, in my opinion.

I agree with the second one being only ok,MIT took me forever to finish it but I have not read the 3rd

I hated the last book.

Insurgent wasn't that bad for a second book. I haven't read the third one yet but apparently not many people like it. Four and Tris are awesome.

Okay, maybe not hate, but I certainly did not like the ending of it.

I really like the trilogy. It makes me want a guy like Four. Anyway, I really like Amity, and even Erudite, when it's like some of the nicer faction members. You?

I agree Four is the type of guy we all want. I like Dauntless and Erudite partially because we got to see a lot more on Dauntless than any other faction.

Did you read the short stories on Four?

Like The transfer, The Initiate, The Son, The Traitor and Free Four. I have only read the transfer and free four.

No, I didn't know they existed!!! Are they any good?

Well it think so they are in Four's perspective. Free Four is the knife-throwing scene (from the first book) in his perspective. The Transfer is when Four had his ceremony so on.

Why does everyone dislike the last book so much?? It was a tragically beautiful ending to the trilogy!

Have you read Ms. Roth's post about why she chose to end Allegiant that way?

Am I the only one who is a little bummed out she chose the Intelligence faction to be the criminals? too often the intellectuals are percieved as bad guys. (Yes, I know, Will and Cara were both good, but really)

Well... About Allegiant... I didn't dislike it, it's just my least favorite from trilogy.

Yeah, for me the dual POV didn't really work out. I'm actually glad that Tris died though, but overall I didn't quite enjoy this whole book.

Hunger Games suits my taste better than Divergent, so I subjectively like it better than Divergent. But honestly, the only good book from THG for me is Catching Fire.
True that, everything falls apart starting from Insurgent.
