Talia is a 13 year old girl who runs a makeup channel on Youtube. She's been fighting cancer for 6 years and has gone through so much more than someone her age should have to deal with, but she's remained so positive through all of it. Every time I watched one of her videos, she always managed to put a smile on my face. Now, her journey may be coming to an end. She hasn't eaten in 5 days and is very nauseous and in a lot of pain. She's fought for so long, but she has said that she can't keep fighting any more. She's already signed the DNR papers. As of right now, she's still alive, but barely. Please take a moment and say a prayer for Talia (if that's your religion) and keep her in your thoughts. She desperately needs it. She is such an inspiration to everyone.

This is so sad, I remember watching her thinking, "Wow, she's beautiful! She's going to be so gorgeous when she grows up!" But now that may never happen. I'm glad her dream of meeting Ellen came true before her time comes though. But geez, cancer is such a horrible thing. And seriously. I just looked it up, apparently at least $4 trillion has been donated to cancer research. What are they doing with all that money??? $4 trillion later, we should have a cure by now. Seriously.
And, I've decided. I'm doing Relay next year. For her. I'll stay overnight, as long as a friend stays with me. Ducky, you in?

If this doesn't put a smile on your face, I don't know what will. Although it's making me tear up too.
Oh gosh, I remember her. She's so beautiful and inspiring. I'll be keeping Talia in my thoughts <3
That's what makes it so cute :)But seriously, she's so adorable. I always watched her videos even though I have 0 interest in makeup... but she always seemed so happy and always made me smile.
Yeah. I just love that Ellen video. She was crying so hard when she walked out, and then when she said the thing about the fish, the whole audience went AWWWWW. It was so sweet :)
Update. This was posted on her Facebook page:Our friend Jamie who is a Psychic and Healer is with Talia right now and has asked that all of you who are seeing this post to please immediately send healing, positive energy to her. Please share this post and take a moment to stop, close your eyes and imaging Talia in beautiful, pure, white light, surrounded by love. Think happy, positive thoughts for her.
Just did this. And that's saying a lot, because I hate hate hate having writing on me. May take a pic and post it later.
Doesn't matter, I did it on my left one so I could draw it with my right hand. Also, it's now covered up by my watch, cause I don't really feel like telling my family why I have an awkward looking fish on my wrist.
Oh, good idea. I realized I was about to draw it with my left hand, but that might not come out so well. Left wrist it is!
Haha cool! I'm going to try to draw one on my wrist every morning for... well... as long as I can remember to... this probably won't last long, but whatever.
This is so nerve wracking for me, and I don't even know her. I can't imagine what it's like for her family. She'll be in my thoughts until she's gone.
John Green said that teens seem invincible because theyfeel invincible. We can convince ourselves something just by believing it, and don't really let others tell us no. Because we want her to be important, she is important. Even if adults think she's not really that cool, she is because we said so.
She definitely is that cool. She's accomplished more in her 13 years than most people ever do in their (much longer) lifetimes. How many people can say they've inspired millions of people?
As for the quote, I definitely don't feel invincible. Far from it. But the second part is right, if I decide something is a big deal, there is no turning back. No one can convince me that it's not or get it off my mind.
Ugh it's just so scaryyyy! I mean, I know the chances of her surviving this are very slim, especially since she's signed the DNR papers, but a little part of me is still clinging on to the hope that a miracle could still save her.
Omg. Her sister just tweeted this:"Talia has talked a little bit today, but has been sleeping most of the day. We have been getting a lot of visitors and a healer came today"
Pretty sure she wasn't even talking at all before... may be getting better! Trying not to get my hopes up but I could sure use some good news right now...
Oh my god, I thought you were going to say that was it. *shivers*Okay. This is what I've decided. If she's amazing enough to be famous, she's amazing enough to get my appreciation and support. I pray for her as the face of the far-too-many who suffer from cancer. Good luck, Talia.
I know, whenever I see her or her sister's pic appear on my feed, I always am like omg omg please don't let it say this is it please don't let it say that. Actually, now whenever I see any new tweet pop up I'm terrified to click it.
Oh! Remember at Relay, during open mic, a girl said, "I relay for Talia." And I told you, hey, I know who that is, she's famous! Yup. Small world.
Oh, I remember that! At least I think I do. Gee, Kyra and I were just texting about how small a world it is. And then I started singing the song, and then I got it stuck in my head, and then I started eating pizza and then I finished my pizza, and then /randomrant ...
Okay her sister posted another tweet and when I saw her pic pop up my heart jumped. But it's more good news!!!!!!"Talia was awake and talking for 30 min to see all of the make up and nail polish that companies sent her!!! God and prayers are working"
From Mattia (her sister)Talia got up today for about 30 min, the longest she's been up and talking for almost a week. @urbanachappa @leacakes @sandra_talia_strength @momma_joy and I were all amazed at what was happening! We all thought this is the act of God and all the prayers are working!!!! unbelievable moment! I hope for a miracle. Talia's eyes lit up when she was looking through all her make up and nail polishes. @taliajoy18 #prayfortalia love u guys
Also, on her FB page (I think either her mom or dad updates it):
#prayfortalia We have some wonderful news. Your prayers and healing thoughts have worked, please keep them coming! Last night during the Prayer Vigil, Talia opened her eyes and stayed awake for 10 minutes. Today after Jamie sat with Talia and we asked for your prayers, positive and healing thoughts, she sat up and opened her eyes and asked for a drink. She drank some Gatorade and is now awake and talking to everyone and is looking through all the packages, gifts and letters everyone has sent her. This is truly a miracle as she hasn't been up like this for more than a week.
