I most recently got:
Yeah I know 2 of these are those Hollywood chick-lit fluff books but I couldn't find anything else so *shrugs*.

I TOTALLY MIGHT END UP DOING THAT.
ONLY THEN I'D BE UP PAST FOUR O CLOCK
AND I'D BE SO DELIRIOUS THAT I'D FORGET THEM BY MORNING AND HAVE TO READ THEM AGAIN.

WHAT IS YOUR POINT? I COULD RE READ THOSE BOOKS A BAJILLION TIMES. GO START. STOP POSTING HERE AND GO READ. AND PM ME YOUR THOUGHTS AS YOU GO.

My cousin's wife Lauren loves books too and she likes to lecture me about reading books that aren't YA (because she is one of those people who holds the silly belief that YA can't be deep which I hate but I love Lauren so I put up with her, even though I can't convince her no matter what I say) so she let me borrow some of her big fancy adult books when I helped them move into their new house!
This is a big fancy book about different viewpoints on ethics about things like war and abortion and sex and all of the hot topics in different religions (with a bias toward the Christian viewpoint because it was written by a Christian) but it's actually really interesting and awesome.
Some fancy classic by a French author that I'll apparently like since I'm so into Les Mis.
Some French play that I'll apparently like since I like Shakespeare.
A biography about this insanely evil king of Belgium who did a ton of terrible stuff right before WWI but everyone forgot about because of WWI.
SO YEAH. Fancy adult books, for the win.
And now I shall put these on my bookshelf and go finish Clockwork Prince because it is brilliant and I love it.

hahaha definitely "insanely evil". he was all like, "DUDE THERE ARE COUNTRIES IN AFRICA LET'S GO CONQUER THEM BECAUSE I DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT THE PEOPLE THERE AND I WANT IT ALL TO MYSELF. YAY MEE." go imperialism woot woot. yeah.
You know sometimes when I go to the library I'll have my usual list of books to get, but then I'll also pick up a book at random just to spice it up a little. It doesn't always go well, though.

so i was going to reply to lav and samantha anne but BOTH OF YOU GUYS CHANGED YOUR NAMES AND I GOT SO CONFUSED. hahaha. @lav *high fives back* he's a pretty cool dude. although, definitely a hard read. so yeah, that's probably true that if you like shakespeare stuffs, you'll like that play.
@samantha anne i always do that! and then it turns out that random book is, like, terrible. so much for my book-picking skills, hahah.
Oh, I'm typically really bored by horror. But ADiB was phenomenal. Have you read the John Wayne Cleaver trilogy?

I read book one, Airhead, a while ago, and I really enjoyed it. I finally am getting around to the sequel. :)

So I haven't even finished all my books from last time but my little sister wanted to go to the library again, so I guess it's time for library haul number 2:
I'm reading this as summer work for AP US History.
This, although I usually don't read sequels so soon.
This one's not so great, apparently.

Rebel Heart isn't as good as Blood Red Road, honestly.

Yeah, I read some reviews of it and was like "Well, I guess I won't be reading this." But then I saw it calling to me from the shelf so I kinda picked it up anyway.
Maya wrote: "Saru (Queen of Bookland) wrote: "Maya wrote: "So I haven't even finished all my books from last time but my little sister wanted to go to the library again, so I guess it's time for library haul nu..."I mean, I still liked it. It's worth the read.
SARU GOT MORE BOOKS!
Didn't like book one of this trilogy(?) all that much, but I'm curious about what happens. :P
Heard that this contains INSTA-LOVE *Gags* but... PRETTY COVER.
YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYSESYES PLEASE.
I'm tempted to start A Song of Ice and Fire but I'm scared.
Alicia wrote: "Augh, I need to read A Game of Thrones. >.< SO MANY BOOKS I NEED TO READ SO LITTLE TIME."True, very true. I'll let you know how it is! :D
There's a lot of kind of graphic sex in it, right? That's the only thing I'm a little worried about.
Alicia wrote: "There's a lot of kind of graphic sex in it, right? That's the only thing I'm a little worried about."Oh shoot. There is? I had no idea. I don't think I'm old enough for that. :P We'll see.
I'm not positive, but that's what I've heard. I heard it from some somewhat conservative older friends, though, so I'm not sure how graphic "graphic" is.
