Rhowen wandered to the bank of the lake. Letting out a sigh, she gazed down at the mirror's edge reflection of the crystalline water.' This is really something to life for.' she mused to herself letting the beauty of her surrounding sink in.
((Sure, I'll bring in Alex))
Alex stuffed his hands in his pockets as he stopped in front of the lake. He sighed quietly as he calmly looked out at the water. It was really peaceful here...A sanctuary from the craziness of the rest of the world.

Rhowen sighed and closed her eyes. Tucking a loose piece of hair back in to her beanie, she took in a breath of the fresh air. Shivering inwardly she felt a strange sort of peace come over her. She felt as though she belonged here. She was knew to this town, but it was obvious to her that she was meant to spend the rest of her time in the place.
Alex felt the air start to warm up. He removed his jacket and slung it over his shoulder. He continued to stare out towards the sparkling water, a smile forming on his face. He started to walk along the bank.
Hearing the crunch of someone walking along the bank, she opened her eyes and glanced in the direction of the noise. Seeing Alex she sighed before returning her gaze the water.
Alex heard a small sigh and he stopped walking. He looked up, seeing Rhowen. He tilted his head slightly in confusion. He never remembered seeing her around before. Maybe she was new?
Feeling eyes on her, Rhowen's gaze flicked back to Alex. Seeing his expression of confusion she gave him a small wave, a slightly bemused small smile flashing over her features.
Alex blushed slightly, hesitantly waving back. Most people never paid any attention to him. It was a little odd for someone to greet him.
Having received his hesitant wave, she began to watch over the lake once more. His made her curious. Was he used to being ignored? Reactions that cause blushes were not reactions she normally had.
Alex bit his lip slightly. He slowly walked towards her. Somehow, he had convinced himself to talk to her and introduce himself. He normally would have left, but something about her seemed odd, like she had a secret.
Noticing his approach, Rhowen felt her interest sparked. Normally people passed her without a second thought. Watching his progress with her prephrial vision, she waited for him to reach her. She would ordinarally leave in this sort of situation, but she was interested in he had to say.
Alex stopped once he was a couple feet away from her. He bit his lip a little before saying,"Hey...I'm Alex Wright."
(( Sorry if my posts are confusing. My phone is malfunctioning))
Rhowen glanced over at Alex with a small smile. " Hi,I'm Rhowen Nord." She replied quietly. She felt oddly aware of her accent, knowing that it made her more of an outsider.

((It's alright))
He smiled shyly and said,"You're not from around here, are you?" He noticed that she had a bit of an accent. A cute accent.

Mirroring his shy smile she shook her head in response. Slightly embarrassed she shifted her gaze to the water.
"Isola Bela, Italy" she replied. She becoming interested in his curiosity and especially his blush, though she decided not to mention anything of it.
"Oh, was it nice there?"he asked. This girl was really starting to interest him. Plus, this was the most he had talked to anyone before.
"I guess so... though really there is nothing there. My mother worked a ferry for tourist and I spent most of my time on her boat." she said with a small shrug. Really, Rhowen had missed conversation, seeing that she hadn't talked to anyone in months this was becoming a nice chat.
Rhowen smiled and gave it a little nod. " Yeah, I really am. It's beautiful here."
He smiled at her. "This lake is most likely my most favorite part of this town. It's peaceful, a perfect getaway from the craziness out there."
" I can see what you mean. So have you always lived here?" she asked intrigued on how familiar he seemed with the town.
He nodded. "Yeah, I was born and raised in this town." He didn't mention his sudden death though.
For some reason Rhowen felt that Alex was holding something back." Do you like it here?" Truthfully, she had already made her mind up on staying in the town;but, she wanted to know the opinion of someone whom had lived there for an extended amount of time.
"Yes. I love this town. Hardly any crime occurs here." A bit of sadness flashed in his eyes. It was true that crime wasn't essential here, but he had been one of the unlucky ones to be affected by it.
" That's good to hear..." she sighed frowning slightly at his tone. Once again she had the nagging feeling that Alex was holding back some horrible experience.
" Okay, that would be nice." Rhowen had been meaning to go explore and she supposed the experience would be better with a guide.
