What is your favorite book? Share here so you can share your experience of reading the book with others. I'll start with a book that isn't that popular.

The underneath is a heartwarming story about a really hard to explain plot. I recommend it to people who like stories with interesting plot lines.

L Harry Potter and the philosipher's stone by JK Rowling Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling i read in 1998 when i was 7 years old.

It opened up my imagination and made dreams become reality. When i was 11 years old (the same age as Harry) and i re-read my favorite book again, i felt even more connected to the text than before. I waited for years to recieve my aceptance letter to Hogwarts through the post, and JK Rowling's creation was so believable that for many years as a child i did TRULY believe that it all exsisted. Wouldn't it be amazing to be a Witch and to attend Hogwarts?! This one book sparked a lifelong love affair with fantasy, and a love for the Harry Potter series which remains to this day.
Every new book that was released my mother would que up in the early hours of the morning, outside the bookshop, to purchase a first edition so that i could read it asap. before everyone else. She would bring it up to the hospital ward and anounce that she had got the latest Harry Potter book!! It was always a highlight of my life and a series that i am so sad has now come to an end. Each book i have re-read about 7 times and so they are all looking a little tatty and worn to say the least!
Who would have thought that one children's story could impact people's lives so much???

Brittney (brittney_joy) | 4 comments I have a blog in which I review some of my favorite reads ... http://www.brittneyjoybooks.sqsp.com/...

In the past year, my favorite read has been "The God of Animals" ... The God of Animals by Aryn Kyle ...it has nothing to do with religion. It is a wonderfully written story about a young girl and growing up and dealing with some messed up family stuff. This is one I can see myself re-reading. Loved!

Lucy Qhuay Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma - This is a beautiful thought-provoking read. I think everyone should read it, but you have to do so with an open mind or else it won't work for you.
Forbidden literally changed me. My thoughts and emotions on incest aren't the same anymore.
