Ella We all procrastinate sometimes. What do you procrastinate? Homework? Projects? Packing for trips? Waking up? Are you a good procrastinator or not? (Does doing stuff last minute help you do it faster/better or stay more focused?)

Life.

I procrastinate just about everything that doesn't interest me. Homework, washing dishes, doing laundry, and occasionally reviews during slumps.

I need to use that line every time someone scolds me for procrastination!

Alex | 146 comments I've gone to write something in this topic 100 times already but I keep getting distracted by youtube vids. I'm not really sure what I want to say, to be honest. I guess I'll answer properly later!

About procrastination, the weird thing about it is how easy it is to convince yourself that the task will get done in no time, that you have lots and lots of time to complete it....and when the thing finally rolls around it takes hours and hours.

Faith Simba | 3 comments .....yeah....I have my own fair share of procrastination;particularly waking up and breakfast.Maybe I will do it when am older and wiser.....what do you think?

message 9: by Amber (new)

Amber (ivorydoom) I could definitely save waking up for the older and wiser.

LOL!

But I love me some breakfast, I'll be all over that shit....just as soon as I wake up that is.

Tell me about it. I'm moving (overseas) (currently), we packed the pod yesterday, and we're flying out tomorrow. I put off packing everything in my room until later. (Hey, who can blame me? I was reading TID and TMI!) Until I had to stay up until 2:30ish in the morning the night before to wrap up.

Procrastination Station is my favourite place to be :D

For one of my Economics courses, I didn't bother going to class as I found the book more useful than the teacher. But I kept putting off reading the book until a couple days before a test and then I would have to cram like crazy.

Mostly homework. Say, I have this huuuuuge history project and absolutely horrified...but then I want to go onto GR and play around and not do my homework, so I convince myself I can squeeze it past midnight and finish it in 20 minutes. :/

Wouldn't the book and the teacher combined be good?

message 16: by Faith (new)

Faith Simba | 3 comments hey danny!you are not alone.I often put off my studies till God knows when.Matter of fact,I have coursemates who won't read until a few weeks to exam.....and then it's cramming to the rescue.I guess we sometimes think we are superhuman.Maybe we are.....afterall.But the problem with cramming is that you may get all crammed up in the process....whatever....

Perhaps, but she was a painfully boring teacher.

I should admit that I also procrastinate to procrastinate. As in, I procrastinate from doing procrastination activities :)

Sorry for not responding to you sooner Ella. I've been busy ... procrastinating! Everything was going so well with my writing until it wasn't. I probably ate too many doughnuts.

Thank you :D I do love Clara immensely. She was my inspiration for my writing in a slightly sordid way so that's why I used her picture. (My real name isn't Clara, that's after her too...). I think she's beautiful and funny and sexy, and I wanted to capture a little of her vivaciousness and sprightliness in my writing. I'm glad I'm not alone in my Clara love!
