The Academy discussion

He spotted out a little table near a fountain that was swimming with little fish. He held the chair out for her then sat in his chair after she was seat. He flipped through the menu looking for a starter.

"You've never had Chinese food before?" Dallas laughed in shock. "Well leave the ordering to me." He smiled. He signalled a waiter over to the table. "We'll take one of everything on the menu." The waiter nodded then walked off.

"Yeah, so you can try it. It's on me." He smiled. Their waiter came over with a tray of little appetizers like pot stickers, pork dumplings, egg rolls, tea leaf eggs. Chinese pancakes and jian bing.

"Go ahead." He gazed at her with a grin. "Take a bite of whatever pleases the eye."

"I'm glad you like it." He said smiling as he took a bite of a dumpling. "Would you like a drink?"

"Yup, they have pop, iced tea, water, green tea, raspberry tea, plain tea and coffee." He spoke with a mouthful of egg roll.

Dallas smiled. "My favourite, ill take one too." He told the waitress then took a bite of a tea leaf egg.

After the appetizers next came some meals. Rice, chicken balls, tea leaf dumplings, and much more. "You enjoying if?" He said as he took a bite of a chicken ball.

"You know, I really like hanging out with you." Dallas said a little shyly.

Dallas noticed her reaction. "Oh I didn't mean to scare you or anything." He looked down at him hands embarrassed.

"I'm sorry if I sprung that on you. I just find you so kind and sweet. All the girls I've ever none were snobs and such. It's nice to meet a girl so down to earth." He said hoping she was okay with him saying that.

"So what do you like to do for fun?" He asked her hoping they could do something together.

"Bus racing?" He asked. "Back home me and the boys used to race buses for fun."

"Like a school bus. There were three buses at the junk yard, my friends and I bought them, fixed them up and painted them. Then we made a track in a field and raced them."

"Okay let's go." He smiled then signalled a waiter over to wrap up their left overs then paid the check.

(Should we make like a field place or a garage/field so they can fix up two buses then race them later on??)
