just wanted to say hello.
A little about me.
I work offshore as a radio officer. I have one son and two grandchildren. Love all things horror, the gorier and scarier the better. There is a softer side to me when it comes to animals.
I have written one book and at the moment am trying to turn it into a screenplay.
Well that's me, I hope to get to know some of you.

I am a screenwriter, filmmaker and blogger best known for horror films (Halloween: Resurrection, Fear Itself, Masters of Horror), and more recently, action/thrillers (Hercules 3d,Conan the Barbarian 3D)... and yes, I'm actually a better writer than those titles might suggest. ;)

I teach screenwriting at USC and I write the blog genrehacks.com, which, along with screenwriting tips, covers the convergence of future technology and storytelling.

I'm just getting the hang of goodreads. :)
