Ella (AWholeLotofNothing) | 386 comments But really, does it really matter how many people we've slept with? People can have sex all they want if (a) it isnt rape and (b) they enjoy it. As long as they're not harming anyone else or themselves (e.g. If they're already dating someone). I suppose people sleep around because they like it. It's like people shaming me for playing soccer because I enjoy it. And why is it that women are held to a different standard then men on this? A girl sleeps with one guy and is called a whore. A guy sleeps around like crazy and is a hero. -_-

Ella (AWholeLotofNothing) | 386 comments We should all have the right to wear what we're comfortable in without being judged.

I never said rape was sex. But if people are going around raping people because they enjoy it, then there's a problem there.

I hate it when I read books (I've never witnessed it in real life) where a girl will be slut-shamed for wearing clothes or being curvier than others or getting pregnant, etc, and then their male counterpart will be congratulated or get less of the heat.

Well the original question was your first question. But now, we're kind of off topic.

That was supposed to be posted on the "Should parents be able to choose the sex of their child?" Discussion. Lol. I have no clue how I mixed those two up.

Well, I don't agree with it but it really depends on the situation. Say, if you're best friend really liked sex, and went out and used people for sex and made them feel bad after and never caught up with them and was, say, ruining some people's lives because they thought your friend liked them or whatever, then it's like using peer pressure for good - I wouldn't really see a problem with 'shaming' them into not using others for sex. But other than in that situation, no I don't think it's ok really.

Makaylia wrote: "I agree with you, Chlo. That is what a slut is. But for those people who are called a slut because of how they are dressed or how they act, is inaccurate. And what do they mean act like a slut? For..."

That's why I don't like the term as well--no guy equal. But I don't think anybody should ever be called a slut, even if they sleep around like crazy, because it's nobody's business who anyone sleeps with.

Ella (AWholeLotofNothing) | 386 comments The "boys will be boys" line only encourages them to be violent and give into patriarchal rules. I dont get why people use it to excuse others actions.
