New Adult Book Club discussion

This thread is to discuss chapters 11-20. If you haven't read this far and want to be unspoiled, you should probably avoid this particular thread.

For those of you ready to talk: that was QUITE some Thanksgiving dinner, wasn't it? It was funny but also illuminating.

Cade's efforts to help Max feel better were genuinely sweet. Max's efforts to make Cade squirm had me laughing out loud. Best of all, we got to learn more about each of them.

It's an interesting twist that, in many ways, Max has the family Cade would like, but Cade can also see the problems, especially around Max's difficulty in accepting her daughter as she is.
