Yay!!! First time, or have you gone before? This is my third.

This is my first time! So excited, yet crazed! So many great workshops I want to go to, but I can't go to them all! :-)

Make sure you go to the first timer's orientation. Will you be at the Avon signing?

I will be at all of the Avon events, but I believe I will only be signing at Readers for Life and Avon Impulse Digital Signing on Saturday. :-) Are you going to be there? I am so overwhelmed with all the work shops I want to take! Do you have your spicked out?

No... I know, right? I'll be looking at the list this weekend. I don't have to worry about pitching cuz I don't have anything finished, but I get to meet my agent and editor for the first time. Squeeeee!!!!

I get to meet my editor for the first time too, and I'm really nervous! I have one manuscript done I'm saving for after Things Good Girls Don't Docomes out.Right now, I want to focus on learning all I can! And stare at my favorite authors with wide eyed awe....

Wear comfortable shoes. Schedule downtime (a biggie!). Don't be shy about anything. Introduce yourself at tables, in the bars and lobby, in the elevator. If a workshop isn't what you thought it would be, don't feel badly about walking out and finding something else. Bring a sweater. Make sure you have a notebook to write stuff down.

Ha, thanks! I've been to a Veterinary conference before, and I figure the content is different, but the rest of it is probably the same. :-) I have a few things left to grab, but I am so bouncing off walls! I can't wait until Tuesday!

Gina, I think I've listened to your 2011 workshop on the CDs- with Ava Milone moderating. :)

Honestly, I don't do many workshops anymore. Most of them are recycled year after year. This year I won't attend any because I'm only there to support some friends, network, and attend my publisher's party. Still, I love the opportunity to connect with old and new friends and the creative energy always revives my spirit.

I just read your bio on Amazon and I totally need to meet you. We can sing duets from Chess together.
