Inu awoke to the sound of wolves howling in the distance...it wasnt very normal howling either it was the sound of pain, battle, and sadness...they wolves had lost yet another fight and Inu couldnt do a thing about it...he was so frustrated that he went out for a walk.

Kara ran through the dark, relying on smell rather then sight.

yuna was walking about and saw inu. "hey wats wrong"

Kara leap into a tree. ((Sorry about leaving yesterday Yuki, My parents got some thing that kicks you off the internet at a set time.))

He looked at her and his eyes were slit like a cats and red.."my wolves are in danger and i need to help them...i dont wany my comrades to die...i wont be like my brother koga and fall in love to where im weak." he said to her his eyes not become any less feirce.

Kara looked around.

"well, anyways i have to go help my wolves....you can stay here if you want to...and if anyone comes around you just say i let you in...see ya" he said as he jumped out of the cave in the mountains and disspeared in the woods at a very fast speed.

Kara started to run again.

Inu came back to the cave and saw no one around...so he sat down by the cliff and looked at out the night sky filled with stars.

Kara leaped high above the trees.

Inu sensed kara and he followed her demonic aura. "Hey wait up...you in the trees!" he yelled up at her catching up to her form the ground runing as fast as he wanted to.

She leaped down and landed in a crouch. "Yes?"

"what are you jumping in trees for?" he asked looking at her.

"Nothing to do, and I like the feel. Why are you over here?"

((Grrr.....g2g.))

"my wolves were being attacked...and it came from this direction...but i think im to late...htey are all soundless...probably dead now...wish i could have heard them sooner." he said with an akward smile.

"I don't smell blood."

"...yeah me neither...thats the weird thing about it...i dont know if it was a trap or what...but...i still want to check it out and see whats going on...you wanna come with me?" he asked.

"Sure." She stood up.

"cool follow me.." he said as he zoomed through the forest.

she ran after him.

They got to a clearing in the woods...there were some old wolf bones but, nothing new..."what the...ok so there were wolves here...these are old dead bones from about a year ago though" he said as he slowly walked over and touched the bones. "there's no sign of new trails of a chase....and i dont smell and blood or wolves. I think this was a trap for someone...now we just need to find out who?" he said.

"You maybe? Not many people are friendly with wolves."

"yeah...but why would they plan a trap so far away from my domain...i only get stronger when im away from my seal..." he said as he looked around at the scrapes and old tear marks on the trees.

"True..." she looked up and went back into a crouch.

"...heh...so the trap is still going then" he said as he threw a rock on a patch of grass...the rock flew down a spikes came out of the ground. "hey...careful...the traps are anywhere...maybe even in the trees." he said as he looked at her.

"Right." She looked at the trees.

"...now which way is the real trap i wonder" he said. He grew longer nails and smiled as he saw someone come out of the bushes. "its time to have some fun" he said in a weird way.

She stood up as she scented someone. An odd glaem came into her eyes.

Echo lifted up her head. She was im human form. she quietly got down from the tree she was in and dashed over to a bush and saw Inu and Kara.

Inu saw the bush move from the corner of his eye...he saw her and thought she was just a human so he ignored her and faced the person coming out of the forest...it was another young boy like himself...he glared...he didnt know this person...never seen ot smelled his scent here before. The boy ran and vanished from the area. Inu stood :that was weird" he said. He walked over to the tree by the bushes and leaned there "and how long have you been watching us?" he asked echo.

Kara picked up a rock she wanted to toss it into the air but she tossed it a few feet from Inu. spikes came up right by him.

He stared at them then at her "you know...i knew that was there....you might have just killed me" he said with a smile.

"Better then getting attacked from above with arrows." She went back into a crouch and stared at something in the tree.

He stpped away from the tree. "are you suggesting that there are arrows in the tree?" he asked.

"There's a set right there." she said pointing up to where she was looking. "You were right about traps in the trees."

"yeah...i figured as much" he said looking at the arrows. "wait..." he threw a rock at the trees and the arrows just fell out of the tree they were like an unfinished trap. He picked one up and looked at it "these....are...priestess arrows...what are they doing here?" he wondered out loud.

"If that is fake..." She leaped up above the trees.

He followed, "what are you thinking?" he asked as he saw demons and humans nothing out of the ordinary.

"How do you know it's your wolves, and I can get a better view from up here."

"I never said it was my wolves...my wolves are all dead already...its my comrades and they're wolves...i know its them because i could smell my brothers scent...and some other people were with him...along with regular wolves." he said. "i like high places...it makes my mind clear itself...i dont know why it just does...i feel like i have my own wings...liek a demon of dark wings. but i am chained on the ground and when my wings grow they always cut them back off again." he said in repsonse to her saying she had a better view.

"Alright." she landed on a branch. She leaped a little higher and looked around.

Echo blinked in surprise and transformed into her fox form in the time they were distracted. She raced away quickly.

She leap down once she saw Echo.

Echo darted under a root of a tree and hid as far down that her little body could go.

She looked after her and then her attention went to the person who was coming from the dark.
