What did you guys think of Tobias's character?

I am in love with his character! He's the exact kind of guy who I would marry. hahaha I think I found someone really close to Tobias and he's a fan of Divergent, too.

I liked him better as Four. That mysterious and interesting character that we didn't know much about. But after he became "Tobias", I didn't like him as much. He was more like "Marcus' son", and was less intriguing. he was my favorite character in most of Divergent, but later on, he became a bit annoying in my opinion.

In one scene in insurgent I thought someone killed Tobias and I was sick and I started to cry. My mom came in and she was like, "Oh, you don't look so good." I'm like, "What?" and she's like, "You're eyes look really watery." and I told her that my favorite character died and she's like "oh." Later Tobias started talking and I'm like, "YAY! HE'S ALIVE!" *jumps for joy*

I liked him as four, but I felt like when I got to know who he really was, it made him an even better character. Because I'd seen him as mysterious and interesting and it drew me in, but then I got to see he was more real than that. Who can totally like a guy you have no clue about? He is one of my favorite characters

Four (or Tobias) is my favorite character. Tris can be, let's just say, stupid at times. How she acted in Insurgent. What was she fixing by going to the Erudite headquarters? Selfless or stupid...

Deep. I do agree with what you were saying, though. I liked the mystery of Four.

I liked him best as Four too. I think he was kind of annoying in parts of Insurgent, although he was still probably my favorite character. I agree, I think that they shouldn't have just said everything about Four/Tobias at once, they should have left some mystery to discover about him.

I agree. I like him better as Four also. He seems more badass, mysterious and charming when he's just Four and not Tobias. I also don't like his real name. Too ancient sounding.

Think what you want, but I like his real name.

But still a great character. I found him a bit over protective late in divergent and early in insurgent....
