I hate - absolutely HATE - when people chew in my ear. I feel irritated just thinking about it.

Sleeping through my alarm like I did today. I don't even know how it happened. Sometimes I set a timer on my iPod instead because for some reason that's louder. Well, not today, I guess. So now it's almost 10 o'clock and I have done nothing. >.<
I hate it when people try to have small-talk conversations with me over text.
For example, Savannah started talking to me about the mint tea I drank the other day.
S: What did it taste like? [She's had it plenty of times before so why is she even asking me?]
T: Minty. :P
S: Was it good?
T: Yeah, but my siblings didn't like it much.
S: What did you drink it in?
Etc.

Pet peeve: when people mispronounce words or just flat out say them weirdly.
My sister just said "milk," but it came out something like "mowk." She's ten but never quite lost her "infant accent." And, as a synesthete who sees spoken words, I visualize all these oddities.
My least favorite words in the English language are "style" (which a lot people people outside the South, where I find it acceptable, pronounce it more like "stow," with an emphasis on "ow") and "cream" (this is my sister's doing…what I see is "cweem."
And don't even get me started on my brother, who my parent refuse to take to a speech therapist. He softens his T's to D's at the ends of word, and leaves out or adds on S's to noun. (Read this last paragraph again to see what I mean. >.< )

My family doesn't notice either…but they don't live with little letters floating in the bottom edge of their vision either. XD
Oh my brothers are always adding or taking away letters in words. Each one of the does it a little differently. One added W's to everything. Another added s's, and so one like that. The oldest one is 12 and he still can't quite get it all pronounced right.
LOL.I actually have 5 brothers. Yup, none are adopted, and we all have the same two parents.
Sorry to just say it right out, but people are always asking me that. That is actually my number one peeves.
Every single time we go somewhere, anywhere really, people come up to us and ask stupid questions:
#1 most commonly asked. "Oh your the only girl?"
And I am all like, "yeah" but really I am like yeah, that isn't obvious? I am the only one with long hair and that wears girl clothes.
#2 most commonly asked. " I guess it's your job to keep all these boys in line huh?" And with this question, it normally depends on where we are. Normally I just say " no, not really" but other times when we are in a toy or candy store I am like "all the time." because really I am. Always having to watch them, and make sure they don't straggle behind.

Pet peeve: People not wanting to talk to you when you meet them.
Pet peeve: Meeting people and not really getting to know them. This drives me nuts. I'm meeting a ton of people, and those that don't run away are people whom I'll never really get to know.
