Personality: Katarina has always been an athletic girly girl. She loves to run, but is also very snobby. Just like Jessamine, she doesn't wear the same dress more than twice, and is always up-to-date on the latest fashion. She loves to train with her parabatai. She will admit that she likes to sing, but thinks she's terrible, and will never sing in front of people. She plays piano, and makes her own songs. Most people think that Kat is a very upbeat, snobby priss, when she's really quite nice to those she knows and loves. Although Kat loves fashion and training, she's very self conscious about her looks, and is always wondering if she's good enough.

History: Katarina was born in Paris, France. Her mother was a mundane, while her father was a shadowhunter. Her father broke the law and ran away from London to Paris to marry Kat's mother. When Kat was nine, her father finally told her about his part of the family, which she had never met. He told her she was a shadowhunter, and gave her the choice to become one, or stay in the mundane world. After a few days of decision making, Kat finally decided to become a shadowhunter. Her father took her to the institute in London, where she's lived ever since. Katarina met her parabatai, Nicholas, when she first moved there, and immediately knew they'd be parabatai.
