~ Titled Titles ~
We would like to thank our NBRC member, Gayle for submitting this challenge.

Duration: - 1 year from start date.

Idea: Every person, and some animals, have a title of some sort, whether that be “Miss,” or “Mademoiselle.” “Mr.,” or “Doctor.” Or “Saint,” “Sir,” “Lady,” “Judge,” or “Queen.” The list goes on and on....

Rules: This challenge is to read as many books as you can that name an individual (using a proper noun) with a specific title. For example, possibilities that would work could include “Pope John,” “Mr. Smith,” “Queen Elizabeth,” “Dr. Livingstone,” etc.

• However, a book with a title such as “Portrait of a Lady" would not work because it does not specify who the lady in question is (there is no proper noun). The book must include a title and a name. The title as part of the series name will also be accepted.

Examples:
The Life of Honorable William F. Cody - Approved.
The Honorable Schoolboy - Unapproved.

Lady of Avalon (proper place/noun) - Approved.
The Portrait of a Lady - Unapproved.

The Chinese Maze Murders Judge Dee Series #13 - Approved.
Judged By You Judge Me Series - Unapproved.

• We will take derivatives of a title.

Examples:
The Apprenticeship Of Duddy Kravitz - Approved.
John Paul II: The Path to Sainthood - Approved.

• Also, an implied title that is elsewhere in the book's title.

Examples:
Hanging the Sheriff: A Biography of Henry Plummer - Approved.
Edgar Cayce and the Sheriff - Unapproved. (Edgar is not the Sheriff.)
Levels:
Novel Novice: 1-4 books
The Honourable Hardback Hoarder: 5-8 books
Anticipating Apprentice: 9-12 books
Jovial Journeyman: 12-15 books
Methodical Mademoiselle/Master: over 15 books
