I agree. I'm such a Trubie, and I love following Lafayette from True Blood. His tweets are hilarious.
If the books are popular, sometimes the fans create the accounts for the characters. They get lots of followers.
Ok, now I can a fictional tv character because you can interact with the actor, but I couldn't understand it with the book characters. But I guess it works. Two of the profiles were male characters and the one had tons of pictures and he kept talking about his love for the protagonist. For a minute I was thinking it was a real person.
Jamie McGuire has FB pages for her characters from Beautiful Disaster . I liked it at first, but then it got old and way too busy. : )
Yeah I am with Lisa. I used to love Alcide but this new Wolf is nothing good. Oh he's still gorgeous and has one of the nicest butts, but he is just too mean now.

Now, I understand the author having Twitter and FB pages to interact with their fans and keep them abreast on the latest books. But I don't get the other. Am I missing something or do I just need to come current? What are your thoughts?
