Jessie | 239 comments Looking back at my ratings, I realized that I have only given 3 books of 36 (I'm relatively new to Goodreads) one star.

How many books have you rated as one star?

I've given 39 (out of a total 231) books one star. I tend to give one star to books which are poorly written and fail to capture my attention. I try to avoid giving a one star review if I haven't read approximately 75% of the book.

Rose (ka-tet-rose) | 37 comments I think I've only given three books one star. It's pretty rare that I absolutely didn't like a book.

Fluttershy | 2 comments I've read 57 books so far and I've only gave 1 novel one star.

Alyssa | 184 comments I haven't given anything 1 star. I would feel way to bad about it. The worst is a 2 star. I feel like the 1 star books are books I can't finish and those I just put on my "abandoned" shelf with no rates.

Mpiggy I've never given a one star either. Like you, Alyssa, I would feel so bad. Even two stars make me feel bad, but normally the books I read are good enough for me to leave the books with at least a three star rating.

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) I have only rated a select few with 1 star. Generally my ratings are 3 or 4 stars. A book has to have a dull plot, bad characters, and horrible editing for me to rate it a 1.
