What is the point of Sandy?

I am just wondering what other readers think about the Sandy storyline.
I really am having trouble seeing where it is going and why really its there in the first place.

I am hoping that now she is not going to buy the house, that's the end of her storyline.
She either needs to come back and confront Roy, ( probably on his wedding day) or go away.

Agreed. At first I think it gave Roy a personal angle to be explored as well as his police work but as time has gone on this storyline has faltered and is now interfering with my enjoyment of the series. It is no longer relevant in my view and Sandy is turning out to be pretty weird and annoying!

Sandy is an irritation. The itch you cannot scratch. I expected Peter James to resolve this issue in 'Dead Man's Time' once and for all, certainly considering the events in Roy Grace 8. On the other hand I have never really warmed to Cleo....

I'm really intrigued by the Sandy story line and I like the fact it continues as a slow burner in the background. I think the problem is how can it be resolved now?

The more Sandy is talked about in the book, the more I can't understand why Grace was ever married her...she's coming across as a vindictive, twisted, bitter person.....
Maybe there's going to be a big shocker as to how Grace made her like that, but at the moment,I could happily do without her.

I like the Sandy Storyline as does leave you intrigued to find out what will happen in the next book
