June came in and started laughing while all the pegasui (spelling?) gave her strange glances.

John chuckled." what's up"?

"I got pegasus flying right now. You got your class planner yet?" June asked.

He shook his head." I like Pegasus , sadly to them I smell like blodd steel and corpses". He admitted is he petted one of them an they shunned slightly.

"Agreed. This one says you stink like...Ares?" June looked at the flying horse with a questioning look then spoke to it, "Of course he's his father!"

" I should also smell like gold". He added and looked aeound." and this place doesn't smell so nice either". He joked.

The pegasus neighed disagreement. June pulled John away from that pegasui and said, "Dont insult this place however bad it stinks. Or they'll trample you tto death. One of their favourite things to do."

He laughed." dont worry". He said as he petted one he had some likable stuff about him.

"Cool. Want to pegasus flying race?" June said as her favourite pegasui trotted over to her and she jumped over him, "Meet Jelly Beans. He's my fave flying horse."

((Lol! The pegasui's name!! Jelly beans! I was eating them now and I couldnt think of a better name for the horse!!))

He nodded." but I'm bringing my own horse". He told her as a flaming skeleton horse came from the ground." hehe". He chuckled nervously." dads...".

June tried smiling but it wasn't easy given the fact she'd be racing against a son of war god and grandson of goddess of luck. But she managed. She chuckled and said, "You're ON!" Her pegasui flew off ground soaring into air as she shouted over the wind at John, "A whole round of the ccamp's preimeter!"

His horse grew wings and John got on , he blasted into the air with a flaming tail mark the sky. He laughed as when he got next to June.

"Welcome fire boy." June said and her Jelly Beans flew ahead at a good speed as she went for one of her swords which were back into her belt by now (like Percy's sword).

He was right next to her again holding her sword."" you do know Ares kids have a gift with weaponry , right"? He smirked." Unless I return it , it's not coming back".

June frowned, "That's not really fair! You get so many perks while I can't really do anything with water right now," she said. Her Pegasus neared John's flame horse and neighed angrily at it while she went for her sword held by John.

He pulle dit away from her reach." sorry". He told her." But you can use the water in the trees , but of course then you must warn the nymphs and the god". He told her and smiled, he had a habit of teaching people stuff even his enemy.

"Yeah yeah. And how do I explain it to them? I wanted water so I could win from the guy with flaming horse?" June spoke, still reaching out for her sword them she stopped herself, "Hold on. That actually makes sense." She grinned at him and her Pegasus flew faster after lots of water shot from nowhere at John's flaming horse.

His horse blasted upwards knowing she couldn't go so high up. He concentrated on his horse and roardhis horse shooting foward her was now right above her.

"I swear if I win..." June just trailed off. Her Pegasus galloped forward in air as she spoke with it Come on boy. We gotta win. We can't that guy get ahead...!

He flew down and was now right in front of her, his horse's wings span preventing her from going around easily." heheh , try that trick again if you want".

"Don't think my horse doesn't have powers!" June chuckled as she and her horse both disappeared and then appeared again few feet ahead of John's horse and it shot forward, leaving John and his horse surrounded in a puff of cloud dust.

" It's a race, no warping aloud"!! He yelled as his horse busted into peices and and was now rebuilding right infront of her . He was holding on to the spine until it completely re build.

"It was no warping! It's getting invisible and flying ahead of you!" june shouted and her horse and she herself disappeared and appeared again little ahead. She couldn't go long invisible without her Pegasus and her falling out of sky but they could go once or twice time to time.

He nodded and his horses tail strapped itself to the others tail, so he could see when they moved , this time he didnt stop he moved forward full speed again nit letting her catch up.

"You're evil.." June said, annoyed. Jelly beans dipped low and flew just above the forest trees so John's Pegasui won't come close without burning up the trees and making the wood nymphs really angry.

He flew down towards her." you do know the fire just represents my battle mode right"? He told he as he flew even more ahead of her leaving her behind.

"Bloody Ares...why did he have do make this kid so smart unlike his other sons and daughters.." June said, cursing softly while the sky rumbled but she didn't care. Her Pegasus galloped on the ground much faster and even she was stronger on ground than in air. Her Pegasus was galloping almost at the speed of Arion. Almost. He stepped right over the creek, getting faster.

He was going down to the gound and stopped right infornt hee." Stop". He told her . He need to talk to her.

June suddenly pulled the reins the of her Pegasus so fast that she almost fell off it. And he started complaining about the 'guy that smelled like rotting corpses and blood' but she just nodded. She stabled herself after almost going at the speed of sound and looked at him, "What now? Another trick to run ahead of me?" she asked.

He shook his head." I feel dizzy ". He told her., I'm naturally not really a rage person , so I get dizzy if I do". He told her honestly as he got off the horse.

June jumped off her Pegasus and went to help him, "Let's go back to cabins then. You'll be better if you sleep or rest, I guess." she said, "I got no skills of medic but I think we can manage to get help from some of our Apollo cabin friends."

He shook his head." Nah dont worry, I'll be fine , but I can't race for a while just give me a min". He told her.

"What do you mean give you a minute? You're dizzy and you just want me to stand here and wait?" she spoke, kinda angry.

He snapped his fingers and concentrated , he slowly started to take away her anger." this happens often don't worry".

She sighed and sat down on a nearby creek rock. June kicked off her shoes and dipped her feet in water.

John closed his eyes and sat down under a tree.

June smiled at the water nymphs below and waved at tthem as they waved back.

He looked over to the nymphs and they winked at him before leaving.

June turned behind and looked at John, "You alright?" she asked, worried.

He nodded and stood up."I'll be fine". He told her as some other nymphs winked at him.

He shrugged , he didnt put much mind into it, about the nymphs ." If you want". He told her and smiled.

"Lets go then. But there may be few monsters which we'll have to encounter since forests are never safe." June said, walking towards the forest.
