High School discussion

((RP here))

Jackson jogged up to Starbucks at his usual 6:30. He always made sure that he got his coffee early in his run, so as to spare the people the smell of a guy who has been running for an hour. But today was a little different, instead of getting his usual black coffee, he decided to grab a small pastry and grab a seat. He knew he would have time, he always had 15 extra minutes to kill before his buddies showed up at school.

Jordan walked in and looked at her watch to make sure she had enough time to get back home and change her outfit. She was a little annoyed she had to get up so early because her dad forgot to get coffee beans for the morning rush that will come while she was in school. As she began to look through her bag for her wallet.She looked over her shoulder to see the one of the school's resident "Playboys" Jackson sitting and she tried as hard as she can to not be seen.

Jackson looked up and saw someone come in. He thought he recognized her, but couldn't be sure. By this time, his pastry was gone and he was working on finishing his coffee so he could head back home.

When Jordan finally had all the coffee beans for the next week she begins to walk out of the door.However, not seeing her shoelaces being untied tripped on them and dropping her stuff.

Jackson gave a small laugh, then got up to help her, a smirk still on his face. "I don't think that's what people mean when they say 'spill the beans'."

Jordan mentally cursing herself looked up and said, "Thank you". Still flushing after her embarrassment.

"No, problem." He picked up the bean bag and looked at her with a raised eyebrow, you sure you're OK? A girl who needs this much coffee in the morning is not typically a good sign."

Jordan smiled,"well this also includes My family and the people who want coffee with there eggs". She laughed, " but who said I was ever ok anyway".

Jackson blinked. He didn't get the joke. "Uh...how many are you making coffee for?"

Out of all the time Jordan can hold composure today was not one of those days as she let out a small giggle," As many People who like breakfast,lunch and dinner and come to Jamie's Diner".

((Do you want that to be the local restaurant, or another restaurant?))

"Oh, you work at that place? I went there once, it was OK, but not my style," he commented.

(@ Jewel y0u had a local restaurant? and anything is good)

Jordan raised an eyebrow," what do mean by that we can always take suggestion?"

Jackson shrugged. "It seemed homey and nice, but it doesn't seem like a great place to hang. Maybe a place to go for a 5th date, but not the 1st or 2nd." Jackson looked at the bag of beans in his arms. "So, are you going to take this, or am I carrying it back to your house?"

((Yeah, and I'll just make a Jamies's Diner.))

Jordan realizing she haven't took back the bag yet quickly reached them back while scowling herself for getting so distracted."Thank you again for helping I'll see you in school",Jordan said as she walks outs the door.

"You go to school with me?" Jackson asked, but she was already gone. He looked at the clock and gasped. He had used up 13 of his 15 minutes. Jackson chugged the last ounces of his coffee and ran home.

Logan walked into Starbucks and went behind the counter. He quickly got his name tag on and walked over to the cash register to relieve his friend of his post. He took at least four dozen customers before looking at the time. He quickly got someone to take his place for him before he rushed out of the shop. He looked at his watch and saw the time. He would have at most twenty minutes to get to school. He started jogging in that direction.

Eric walked into Starbucks and looked up at the menu that was hanging over the counter. It always surprised him how many various types of coffee there were and how many options this place gave you to choose from.

Jordan walks in to Starbucks to do "things" before she heads to her father's diner. She waited by sitting in one of the table but in the meanwhile she decided she could read the book a few pages in a book for English class.

Eden walked in reading her book, she walked over to the counter and looked at the menu then at the boy and smiled

Eric smiled back at the girl when he noticed her and then glanced back at the menu.
"Do you know what you're going to order?" He asked her curiously.

Eden looked back at the menu and smiled "I think I'm going to get the hot chocolate" she smiled at him "what are you going to get?"

"I don't know. I like trying something new every time I come here. Any suggestions?" he asked with a smile.

"I don't know, I don't like coffee so I have never gotten that, all I have gotten here is hot chocolate" she smiled at him and looked at the menu again

Jordan as much as she was trying not to be nosy couldn't help but smiling knowing where this might go and continue to read her book.

Eric chuckled and shrugged. "I guess I'll try their hot chocolate then. I'm Eric, by the way," he said, smiling at her and holding out his hand.

Eden smiled and shook his hand "I'm Eden" she smiled and waited for him to order "your going to love the hot chocolate"

"Well if ya say so," he replied with a smile, ordering the hot chocolate.

She smiled at him and looked him over, he looked like a geek, just like her but couldn't really tell "So, what grade are you in?"

"Tenth grade, I'm a sophmore. I wouldn't be surprised if you had no clue who I was," Eric said with a wry smile.

Eden shook her head "I have seen you around a lot, but i have only been here for about a week" she smiled and ordered her food

"Oh really?" he asked, almost sounding pleasantly surprised. "Well, welcome!"

Eden smiled at him as she waited for her hot chocolate "Thanks, not many people seem t say hello, i think its my glasses but they think im a nerd" she smiled at him

He chuckled and shrugged. "I guess it's possible. Also, not a lot of people here are extremely friendly. Or at least I haven't met a lot of friendly ones." Eric shrugged again, getting his hot chocolate and taking a sip.

Eden nodded and got her hot chocolate and thanked the lady that gave it to her, she smiled at Eric "yeah, lots of people just look at me like im weird, and i am a little bit" she thought out loud

"Well weird is good. It's no fun being like everyone else," Eric replied with a smile.

Eden nodded and smiled "yeah, it wouldn't be fun to be like everyone else" she looked around "should we sit somewhere?"

"Sure," he said with a light chuckle, walking over to a table by the window.

Eden smiled and followed him over then sat down and looked outside, it was a gloomy day and it looked like it was going to rain "looks like rain"

"It does," he agreed, "but I like the rain. How about you?"

"I only like it when I have a good book to read" she smiled at him "right now I'm re reading the Harry potter series"

"Really? I love the Harry Potter series!" Eric exclaimed.

Eden smiled "me too! My dad read them to me when I was little, so I'm just reading them again, I'm on the goth book 'order of the Phoenix'" she smiled widely at him and pushed up her glasses

"My mom read them to me," he said with a smile. "I've read the series for myself at least 3 times."

"that's cool!" She smiled and took a sip of her drink "so, what is your favorite movie series?"

"Movie series? Hm. That's a tough question," Eric replied, drinking some of his hot chocolate to give him a moment to think. "I'd probably say...The Lord of the Rings. I haven't read the books yet, but I plan on reading them. What's yours?"

Eden smiled "lord of the rings is awesome, but I would have to say my favorite is the new star trek movies" she smiled at him and took a sip of her hot chocolate

He chuckled and nodded his head. "Those were pretty good."
