I'll throw this one in, just in case...Not a Zebra, but the only one I know of with Australia setting and hero as bond servant is Dark Torment by Karen Robards from 1985.

Sadly, I found this book once and lost it again. Maybe someone can pinpoint this one off of the top of their head, to spare some time. XD
All I remember about the actual plotline was that the hero was working as a bond servant in the Australian sugar cane fields. For the majority of the book he was actually a prisoner, and at one point his slave ship(lol) somehow intervened the heroine's ship, and they had sexorz, even though he was all grotesque and unwashed. LOL She winds up pregnant. That's all I remember.
