Abby: I sink back slowly towards the tent as one of the girls glances towards my hiding spot, my heart racing. She had heard me! My hands shook with the granola bar wrapper still in my hand, and the remaining piece fell out. I gasped sharply. Now I had nothing left to eat! I plucked it out of the dirt, blowing on it quickly and brushing it off, hoping the granola bar was safe to eat.
Abby: I curled up into the corner of the tent, a blanket pulled over my head. This was it, they were going to hurt me! Just like they did to-to- I cut my thoughts off, hearing the footsteps closer until I was sure they were directly outside. I closed my eyes, preparing to cry.
Abby: I hold my breath, gulping when the girl calls out towards me. I wring my hands until they turn white, the air under the blanket beginning o become hot and stuffy. It didnt sound like the girl would heart me, but I wasn't taking chances.
Abby: "don't hurt me!" I squealed, whimpering as I tugged the blankets together to the point couldn't breathe. Who was it, and what did she want?0
Abby: "you promise...?" I mumbled, peeking from under the blanket. It had been days since I've had a normal conversation with someone, and I could definitely use help. My hair was knotted and filthy, my clothes worn out and muddy, and my face was grimy with sweat and dirt. I could see the girls silhouette from the inside of the tent.
Abby: I crawled on all fours from under the blanket, peeking from tge orange tent flap wide eyed. I saw two girls, older girls, crouched by the tent. They appeared harmless, and they didn't have those big scary guns. I decided it was safe, and I'd be dead soon anyway, and stood slowly outside the tent, bitin my bottom lip and my head dipped down.
Abby: "yeah," I mumbled, sniffling as memories of the disheveled bodies of my teacher and another student sneaking their way into my head. I squeezed my eyes shut, the memory vanishing quickly. I opened them again, gazing intently at the girl. I took a small step back, almost tripping on the tent. "I'm... I'm hungry," I said softly, my fingers in my mouth.
Abby: "all gone," I held up my hands, shrugging. My tummy growled, and I pressed my hands to it hoping to calm y stomach. "I want mommy," I said suddenly, realising that this girl could possibly take me to her.
Abby: "at home," I mumbled, resisting the urge to start crying. "and I want daddy. And Charlie. And-and my brothers," I whimpered, hugging myself tightly ad fresh tears carved a path down my cheek, mixing with the grime on my face. Where were they? Were thy okay? Would I ever see them again? I wanted my nap.
Abby: "right now?" I asked hopefully, my eyes staring up at the girl. "please?" I added softly. ((I think I'll change her age to six... Idk if sevens too old??))
((I put seven, but I was like ehhh I want her more childish... Should it be five? Idk cause in her picture she looks around seven...()
((so let's say her character disappeared, and that makes ee want to run and hide from the bad guys that supposedly took her?))
Abbey: I scre when the girl tugs me forward, her larger hands enveloping my small dirty ones. "let me go!" I screeched, thrashing against her grip in fear. After all this time of hiding, I couldn't die, not like this! I hadn't ntied the absence of the other girl, and I grew more frightful as planes roared over head.
Abby: I balled my hands at my side, my head bowed slightly as I looked up shyly at her. When she told me there might be people here to hurt us, instant reflashes of how my teacher was shot filled my head. I started to hiccup, something that happened whenever I was scared. "but w-why?" I mumbled, not sensing the urgency.
Abby: The idea of living in a house appealed to me, as well as the fact that she was going to try o help me find my family. I took the girls hand reluctantly, looking up at her expectantly. My stomach growled again, the final motivation to going with this girl. Maybe she would find me yummy food, and i could play with all her toys while we were waiting for mommy!
Abby: I fought hard to keep up with the girl, my stomach gnawing on my insides as we ran. "ab-Abby," I panted, screeching to a halt. I bent over to catch my breath, my head spinning. When was the last time I ha water? This morning? I felt like barfing. "which...which way... Are we going...?" I asked between breaths, my hair matted to my forehead after the quick jog.
Abby: I looked up at the girl in curiousity, pounding her name. "e?" I repeated. "like the alphabet! I know how to write it!" I claimed proudly, before remembering she was a complete stranger. I mellowed down, my hand clasped in front of me nervously.
Abby: I sniffle a glob of snot, Flinching when she touched me. "eeeedaa?" I said slowly, testing out her name. I clung to her side when I heard distant booms, and I tugged on her shirt. "can we go home now?" I asked timidly.
Abby: I scurry alongside the friendly girl, glancing frequently and nervously around me as we progressed through neighborhoods and shopping areas. "are we there yet?" I whined, clapping a hand over my mouth and staring wide eyed at a sight before me.((you pick :) add some excitement!))
((you know what's crazy?? I was thinking the SAME EXACT THING!!! omg... Perfect ;) you don't have to ask me I'f you want to add something or narrate something I'm chill with it))Abby: I began to choke on sobs, inhaling sharply multiple times. Short choppy cries escaped my cupped mouth, the sight of the dead people burning an image into my mind. I cried harder, shutting my eyes completely as I wailed into my hands. What happened to them? Where were the good guys to help them? I let ee guide me, her comforting hands on my back making me extremely warm and sweaty from crying.
((sweet!!! Haha we are the greatest minds))Abby: The bodies didn't end. They were strewn across the street grotesquely, and some were pinned onto stakes. Each time I tried to open my eyes, the sight got worse. Finally I halted, burying my face into her stomach. "I wanna go home!" I moaned, my voice stuffy from crying and my thumb in my mouth. Tears sparkled on my lashes, dripping onto my round cheeks.

Abby: I didn't have enough energy to start screaming when the bombs shook the floor, the trees quivering with all their leaves above me. I curled up inside the tent, sniffling and rocking on my heels crouched down. I knew that I needed to find more food, or more friendly people, soon before I was caught. I crawled out of the tent when the shaking stopped, and finished off the last of the food for my late lunch. I heard voices somewhere beyond the trees, and I froze, wide eyed.
