Shatter Me discussion

Okay i don't hate him and I kinda really like him despite how messed up he is >.<

I loved him right from the beginning when I read Shatter Me. Once you read Destroy Me and Unravel Me you love him even more.

I don't like him even as a villain.

Warner is the sexist villian ever <3 I love him

I didn't like him in Shatter Me... I really saw no reason to like him. In my opinion he was not meant to be likeable in the first book. However, after reading Destroy Me, my opinion changed and it opened my eyes to being more open minded about characters and their situations. And I did like Warner in Unravel Me. However, in Shatter Me... No I did not like him.

I actually really really like him in just Shatter Me. I Know he was the villain but then there was just something about him, that made him seem kinda harmless and lost and just wanting to be with someone xD.

I've always loved Warner, but maybe that's just my fondness for bad boys. In Shatter Me, I thought that he was just your typical beautiful villain who I still happened to like. But in Destroy Me, when we got Warner's POV, I fell in love with him! He was so vulnerable and sensitive and sweet. I saw why he is the way he is. Then in Unravel Me I just wanted to flip to any page that had Warner on it. Adam who? I find Adam boring, but Warner, I mean Aaron, is beautiful and vulnerable and strong. Aaron all the way!

Definitely! They are perfect for each other, but alas, I know that Ms. Mafi will probably have her end up with Adam.

I get she loves Adam but he can barely be with her one slip and he could die! Then Aaron can be and he loves her so much. I hope she doesn't throw away

I know right! Besides Adam is boring and Aaron is so mysterious and beautiful. Juliette said herself that Aaron Warner is actually more beautiful then Adam. And, if you ask me, he's more vulnerable, sweet, and better for her too.

I couldn't agree more. I know people hate Aaron Warner because he has killed people, but then he still is a good person just someone needs to see that especially Juliette!

He has had a hard life! When Juliette saw the lash marks on Aaron Warner's back, I just started breaking down and crying. When Aaron speaks I'm literally leaning forward to see what he'll say next. Juliette looks at him like he's broken! But what Aaron Warner needs isn't her pity! He needs her love!

I was so frustrated in chapter 62 in Unravel Me when Juliette said, "Adam" instead of Aaron. And she did that right after he bared his heart and soul to her!

I know exactly how you feel i felt the same way!! It was so messed up and i hated her for it

I like how comically evil he is. Maybe this is weird, but he had me laughing throughout the book! With all the things he said and did, he reminded me of a Nazi from a british sitcom, like Allo Allo. I sort of formed an absurd picture of him in my head. I found him so hilarious that he became my favorite part of the book. He was like a super villain from a movie! Is he in a lot of the next book? Because I probably won't read the next one otherwise.

I just get really irritated at Juliette sometimes for being completely inconsiderate to Warner and his love for her.

I love him, I just wish that Juliette would have let him kill Adam though.

Also I hope Warner and Juliette end up together or the last book will be throw out my window.

Do you mean the Unravel Me as the "next book" here? Well, yeah. He appears a lot in that book. Read Destroy Me, too. You'll definitely love him more there. ;)

@Amber I hope Ms. Mafi doesn't take the cop out and kill of Warner. It just irritates me when authors kill of one person in the love triangle so that the heroine has to choose the other guy. I NEED WARNER!!!!!!!!! But Ms. Mafi did say, when asked if there would be another chapter 62 in the next book, "Oh, I think that Warner fans will get something even better than that." I need HOPE!!!!!!!!! WARNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Warner more than I love Adam. I think Adam has a cheesy personalty. After reading Unravel Me I really think she might end up with Warner. I saw that with Warner she feels stronger but with Adam she acts like the weakest person in the world.

I feel bad for Warner and all that but I just can't bring myself to like him. Some of the stuff he's done is unforgivable. It disgusts me. I'm all for Adam.

I normally go for bad boys e.g. Sebastian in TMI but Warner really creeped me out in this I liked Adam much better and he had a brother and that made him 100 times more attractive to me

Anyway, I love Warner. He seems best for Juliette, he pushes her to her limits and he continues to try to make her reach her potential.

Warner is my favorite character. Everybody has their flaws. I liked him even before I read Destroy Me because I knew he wasn't as ruthless as he wants everyone to think, it's only a font. His only crime is being the ultimate actor and dis-player of male dominance over another=). Beside Adam is just like Wolf from Scarlet.

I don't hate Warner, nor do I hate Adam. I think I hope Juliette to end up with Adam, even though I find Juliette really annoying. She is the character I like the least. To me, what made the second book go from a "ok" to a "good" was totally Kenji. I loved that he could go from sarcastic to deadly serious in a second. He was the only one that really put Juliette on place.

I like Warner he adds a lot of conflict, which makes the book even better
