I LOOOVE Twilight, i think it's basically one of my favorite books, but it doesn't have the mysteries of Beka Cooper. I mean, it has GREAT drama and suspense and everything, the plot it perfect, but the book is way over hyped

I don't think there's any comparison. I mean, if you like your leading ladies kick-ass (and as a Tammy fan, I assume you do), then I don't think you'll have much patience with Bella, who is just all about the guy in her life.

Read it so I can say it sucked. The Host was good (all on my blog lol).

THe Host was actually a little better than Twilight, but I really don't like either.

Bella is sort of useless and stuff....

Twilight was... okay. I probably would've liked it better if I had read it before the hype for the movie started up. I thought Bella was a total wimp, and that Edward was a pompous jerk, but I think it's worth reading for the antagonist. I hear that Bella is supposed to improve in the other books, though. I've also heard that Breaking Dawn is really dirty, really risque.

The series is good, it's not the BESt, but it's good. I just REALLY hate how it's so hyped!

i read a bit of midnight sun online, and it was disgusting
i can't believe that people actually like Edward after midnight sun, because he is so stalkerish (nice word, i know)

Bella's completely annoying and dependent on Edward. It's so bad it's not even funny- scratch that, it's fun making fun of Bella. (tongue twister!)
So, to shorten it, Twilight sucks.

I kinda liked it, though I thought The Host was by far a better novel! I loved The Host so much! It made me laugh, cry, scream, throw the book, etc. : ) I hope she makes a sequel! I mean, the characters are just so real and...ah. I loved The Host.

The first book was a fun read, although the hype around it was just annoying. Regardless the books after it were steadily worse. I haven't read the host yet.

I thing Twilight was a good debut novel. However, it also reads like an author's first novel. The Host was a much better written book. The character development between the books is much better- I agree, Bella doesn't change and neither does any of the other characters. The book is good, however I agree that it's way over hyped. Can you believe that they made action figures of Bella and Edward?

What? Drama and suspense in Twilight? When? I hate twilgith, sorry. Terrier is SO much better.

I thought Twilight was okay. Terries is so much better! Totally agree Emily :) I mean, I love the book, Twilight. I just hate how it's so over hyped now. It makes me want to throw it away

If I have to see one more magazine cover with Kristin and/or Robert on the cover I will scream. Seriously since I work where magazines are sold, I might just become the "crazy one" at work. Twilight is a good light read, but any one of Tamora's books are better...

I used to love Kristen from Catch that kid, but now...ugh

I loved Kristin in Speak, but Twilight... uh?? I think I imagined all the characters differently then the actors who portrayed them.

I recieved Twilight as a gift. It started out ok, but Bella is a cow.

It's a decent series but not comparable to anything that Tamora Pierce writes in my opinion. other than the same 'genre' of young adult, the books are vastly different and ideals are super different. Along with the fact that I think Tamora has far superior writing skills and that Twilight, though a good quick read, is not as well written in terms of literature.

I must admit I enjoyed the Twilight books, although the feminist in me was squealing at how bad it is. It is a guilty pleasure that's for sure. There really is no comparison what so ever to these books and any books Tamora has written.

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, read, (or see) Twilight. They are the worst books ever. Especially, if you don't like sex. But they're still bad anyway.

NO. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee do not Not NOT compare the amazing, empowering writing of Tamora Pierce to the useless waste of a human space that is Bella.
Stephenie Meyer has not created a strong heroine, a positive role model, or a realistic girl. Bella depends on a boy for her happiness. She doesn't love him, she is addicted to and obsessed with him. Tamora, on the other hand, has created strong, independant women who are self-sufficent and secure in their individuality.

In short, No, Twilight is not as good as Terrier.

Twilight is amazing and you SHOULD read it, but i warn you, you will not be able to put it down. Anyway, terrier is better by a little/large margin - depending on how you see it.

LARGE margin. Extremely large.

As obviously put by others, Terrier is better than Twilight. It's a book that you will either love or hate. I liked them. That doesn't mean that you or others will, however.

The writing is Terrible its filled with phrases like "He dazzled my eyes", And there is no strong female hero Bella is completly annoying and dependent.

She should be ashamed to call herself a female after Twilight

I think that twilight is a good book.
a good book, not a great book, and certainly not a super awesome book.

It is not nearly as good as Bekka.

However, I think you should read twilight, if just so you know what people are talking about when they start ranting about how much they hate/love the book

I actually really liked it when i first read it a few years ago, but then everyone started freaking out over it and there was "Team Edward" and "Team Jacob" and now im really SICK of how much fuss everyone is making out of it.

I also totally agree w/anne when she says it is "as deep as a puddle". Other than totally unbelieveable love and romantacized vampires, it doesnt have that much in it.

twilight... i feel sorry for it..it was a good read..and then the movie came out.. what happened to the heart throb edward...became ewwness rob patterson..sigh..then i tried re-reading the books...

I watched the movie i thought it was ok but to teen drama'ish and then i read the books...And hated them with a passion. lol
