kass took a nice stroll through the park

:Okay, can I just go? I get a little wordy, so if it gets, annoying just tell me so. Here it is:

Michael shoved his hands deeper into his jacket pockets and tried to ignore the shivers rolling down his spine. California was supposed to be sunny. Obviously, he should have gone to a school farther south or stayed in Arizona all together.
But walking through the park was better than being trapped up in the dorms rooms with Bryce and feeling guilt for not studying. Thought Bryce made it impossible to study anyway, since his "band" came in to practice every other hour. The practices seemed to have less to do with music and more to do with getting high and seeing who could consume the most beer.
A cold burst of wind slipped inside his jacket, and Michael's entire frame shook in the cold. He leaned further into himself. Shit, he thought, as his car keys fell from his pocket and into an icy puddle. Michael reluctantly pulled his hand out of his pocket and bent forward to retrieve them. Glancing up, he saw a very pretty girl with soft auburn hair walking in his direction.

:Was that okay?:

"heyy" she said giving the boy a warm smile. he looked freezing

"Hey," Michael said, Be cool! Say something funny, he thought. "Do you go to the college?" He motioned awkwardly to the dorms behind him. Despite the cold, he was blushing like crazy now.

no.. kass said awkwardly.

"Oh, I do. I'm Michael. What's your name?"

"im kass nice to meet you!" kass said sweetly

"Cool," Michael said, searching for something interesting to say. "So did you grow up here? I'm from Arizona."

thsts cool but yeah i did

"So what do you do for fun here? I'm a freshman, and I've never been to California before."

" just hang around town meet new friends" kass said walking along side him

"Okay,are there any clubs you think I should go to?" he asked, feeling nervous.

they just finished building one last week the grand opening is tomorrow night

Oh, that sounds great. Do you want to go with me?

"uh.....i'd love to but im not sure if im able to or noy" she said honestly

Michael felt a pang of disappointment. "So can I have your number then. You know, if it turns out you can go."

" yeah that would be great." she said reaching into her pockets to look for a penn and paper.... she could only find a permanent marker so she asked for his hand.

After she wrote down her number, Michael gave her his. "Call me and let me know when and where you want to meet, okay?"

"yeah great!" she said before she walked away from him with a lil more sway then usual
