Now, what kind of place doesn't have rules? Definitely not an Orphanage (managed by me!). It is advised that you read this through before your character gets punishment. Punishment varies by the degree of seriousness that your disobedience (or 'crimes' some naggy old caretakers like to say) displays. If it breaks the law (the universal kind, the ones set by the police themselves), you will be sent to jail. If it breaks the rules seriously, you might get caning. If you just broke the rule, maybe just a week's grounding. If you just brushed the rule, just a scolding. If you didn't break a rule for the whole year-yep, they record you down-you might get tons of praise by the nun-like caretakers and maybe a smile or two by the police officer types. Then there are the serious rules and the not so serious rules. Break the serious rules and you get direct canning but if you are to break the not so serious rules...it depends, but mostly, the worse case scenario is a month's grounding.

Rules:
There are a few 'folders' of rules here and there some are strictly for some places only while others are universal in the orphanage. Of course, the country's rules/law are universal in the orphanage.

The Mini Patio Rules
1. No pushing around (the fear of children falling down arose when a girl was pushed and fell out of the large windows)
[Punishment: Caning. This rule is at the top for a reason, it is a SERIOUS RULE.]

2. No bullying or loud chats/screams (these tend to disrupt others)
[Punishment: Just maybe a scolding or two (depends on how many caretakers there are at that point of time, but if you are to be as unlucky as to get over ten...good luck, my fellow friend). This rule is at the second top for not much of a reason, this rule is a NOT SO SERIOUS RULE.]

3. No pranks (you probably didn't know but a teenage boy-none other than Hikeitashi Yameran-pranked a grumpy old man from the balcony by pouring his orange juice down at him 'accidentally')
[Punishment: Well, Hikei got a week's grounding at that and he also had to help the old man with his groceries (that was the old man's requested punishment, whoever you prank get a part on what your punishment shall be). This is not a serious rule but a NOT SO SERIOUS RULE.]

4. No band practices unless you've been hired or you music is down-right great (yep, a crazy band of children wanted to practice their music somewhere 'secret' and picked the a patio)
[Punishment: Some nagging, that's all (this depends on the time of which you were playing your music, if you play at a highly annoying part of time, I wish you luck on your one week grounding). This is a NOT SO SERIOUS RULE.]

The Social Room Rules
1. No staying out of curfew (some people think that's awesomely fun, watching TV late at night. Well fellas, TOO BAD. GET YOUR OWN TV!!!)
[Punishment: One or two day's grounding (if you're lucky to be caught by the nice caretakers) or one week's grounding (if you meet the mean ones). This rule is a NOT SO SERIOUS RULE, though it is considered SERIOUS when you stay over five hours.]

2. No breaking of any thing (children sometimes get out of hand and ruin stuff when they play about so this rule is set by the officer-type caretakers to scare off the puny brats)
[Punishment: You have to pay for whatever you broke and do chores for a whole month (cleaning the Social Room every week in tiring). SERIOUS RULE here, if you break the TV or worse.]

3. No dominating games for longer than 30 minutes (how do they keep track, you wonder. Here's how: they system all the games, from digital ones to physical ones, with a timer, it will beep every thirty minutes and everything will stop moving until you slot a token into the slot for every single player-this was installed by our genius, Connor Delta. The token machine works when you enter your name into the machine, state the game and all the information such as time and who you're playing with. This machine/computer will keep track of your activities, another machine by Connor Delta.)
[Punishment: Nagging and embarrassment when the machines don't turn out. This is NOT SO SERIOUS because of the machines.]

(More rules to come....sorry about the wait.)
