Tawney | 1 comments I am an intern for Rebekah Crane author of Playing Nice. She has her second book Aspen coming out in January and we would love for your group to review eARCS before the book comes out. Any reviews would be most appreciated. I was wondering if we could give away 10 eARCS in November for a review? That month would be perfect because she will have them by then. Thank you and let me know if there is anything eles!

Oh ok thanks Olivia :)

message 21: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 7 comments Figment.com sounds like a neat website. I'll have to check it out. And publishing through Amazon is pretty easy too, but I would recommend spending the money on editor and cover designer. There's a few crucial steps that are important, but the good news is there's many resources out there for writers and wonderful ways to get them to readers. Thanks everyone!

Congrats! I'm happy to discuss ideas with you one on one if you want to message me directly with questions. And I would highly recommend reading the book APE Author, Publisher, Entrepreneur. How to Publish a Book by Guy Kawasaki

Best wishes.

C.V. Dreesman (cvdreesman) | 3 comments Hello everyone! I have just recently published my first YA paranormal book, Cursefell by C.V. Dreesman Cursefell. Best selling author Katie Jennings raves: "Cursefell is one of the most original, unique stories I've ever read." (ok, pretty excited over that review) http://www.amazon.com/Cursefell-C-V-D...
It is a bit of a departure from what I usually write so I would love it if the group could take a minute to read the blurb and the sample chapters on Amazon and let me know what they think! And if you pick up the book please let me know! Fans of Twilight, the Hunger Games, and Divergent, The Vampire Diaries, and Once Upon a Time (the tv show) will find it compelling and its own unique novel.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 43 comments Not sure how many of you guys read comics, but if you'd like to check out something that, I think, is a little different(and has a YA flair to it), here's a 10 page short comic I wrote a while back. First thing I ever published :)

message 27: by Adeba (last edited May 13, 2015 07:53PM) (new)

Adeba Hi everyone! My first novel, Death Bash Boys, has just been published, it is mostly of the superhero genre. Here is the book description:

"As members of the Security Department, Aryan, Kaysan and Humair (unofficially known as the Death Bash Boys) must protect humans from the formidable monsters of Planet Elnath. After a mysterious tipoff, they investigate the Central Bank and are horrified to discover that all of the employees have been murdered. The police confront them and soon the whole world accuses them of the murders. Torn from society, the boys are now on the run and are facing their biggest challenge yet: uncovering the identity of the true criminal mastermind. Not only does this criminal know them and predict every decision they make, he also has a special device that can turn monsters into his slaves. To make matters worse, he seems to have a lot in store for them.

Aryan: Being an Elnathian was awesome. Running faster than the speed of sound, fighting monsters at night and being the secret hero of the city— it was everything I dreamed of. Until that day, when the world turned against me because of it.

Kaysan: Trust and friendship— life’s greatest illusion. Easy ways to enslave someone. I thought I was immune to that. Instead, I could use it for my own gain. I thought I could do what had to be done. I was wrong.

Humair: I was always curious and the universe is a fascinating place. And I don’t mean to brag but I thought I could change the world. Make it a better place. I still hope I can, but I never thought knowledge could bring so much pain."

lauren ♡ (laurenkara) Hi I'm Lauren! I am a brand new, active book blogger. I will be posting daily and am looking to improve and grow my blog. I primarily focus on Young Adult books (my favourite genres are: horror, sci-fi, paranormal, dystopian & fantasy), but occasionally read and review Adult books and Comics/Graphic Novels. I post lists/memes and photos of my books and bookshelves. I plan on (hopefully) hosting some small giveaways in the near future. My reviews tend to focus on how the book made me feel rather than on super technical aspects. I'm always seeking out ARCs and books to review.

Danielle Rogland (danielle-rogland) | 1 comments Hi everyone! I'm very excited to be part of the group. I'm an author who published my first novel under the title "The Last Burning of New London" in 2013. Now, I've given the book a new title, "Ignite," and to help promote the re-branding I'm giving away free online copies. I'm not asking for reviews or anything in return, I just want people to read it!

The story takes place in post-apocalypse London, where Jacks, a teenage pickpocket, accidentally gets swept into the world of a prominent group of rebels trying to overthrow the Empire. Here's the link to read it free online: https://www.inkitt.com/stories/scifi/...

Thanks so much everyone!

Asa Rodriguez (asarodriguez) | 12 comments Hi. I am a nonfiction author; but currently just published my first YA fiction, fantasy novel. "BENJAMIN JONES. The Call of The Shaman." Please consider it for purchase.

What if reincarnation is real...?? What if a soul and its magic can rebirth in a new physical body?? This story is just about that. It contains action and adventure, fantasy and mysticism. But it is also about purpose and self-discovery.
