could you pick both? i mean i know it's not in the book but that doesn't mean it hasn't been done before.
or divergent, there are different ways to be divergent, seriously think about it, they cant kick you out of the factions for choosing both and that would be the logical thing to do cuz if you didn't read the book you would have no idea what you would have to be prepared for. it's actually a logical answer
True, but what would you do with both. If you sought to ward off the dog, wouldn't you use one or the other in the process?
I'm guessing it would either go to the dog stimulation and you could choose to kill the dog or use the cheese or it would go to a different stimulation entirely i personally don't know never actually having taken the test.

Okay, as soon as you pick one item up, the other one will disappear. So you have to pick one or none xD

You transition to a different setting. You are on a bus, and the man in front of you is reading a newspaper. The head line is "Brutal Murderer." He turns to you and asks if you know the man in the picture. He says if you know who he is, you can save him (the man you are talking to) from being framed. You do, in fact, know the man in the picture. What do you tell him?

Wait, admitting you know the man shows signs of selflessness, just to clarify

Right now, you are Divergent; you show signs of Amity, Candor, and Abnegation. Do you want to go on with another scenario and eliminate two factions ?

Okay, your best friend is in trouble. In order to protect him, you need to lie for him. If you are found out, there can be serious consequences. If you don't lie for him, his life will be endangered, and if he does live through it, he will never speak to you again. What will you do?

Finally, you are in a desert. You are down to your last bottle of water, good for one person. Your friend is really thirsty, but so is a little kid who looks like he's dying of dehydration. Who do you give the water to?

the kid who's about to die, if he's really my friend he won't hold a grudge for helping someone in need

Your results are a tie between Amity and Abnegation, but your answer for the last scenario brings you a bit closer to Abnegation (:

Where do you stab the dog? (Erudite confirmation question)"

I would grab the cheese, because let's be honest, I'm probably hungry. When the dog shows up, I'm staring that jerk down cause it's a sign of dominance and if that don't work, this girl is throwing the cheese and backing away slowly cause I don't want it chasing me alrightI would probably be like "Dude I know him but how the heck does that help you?
Okay yeah I'm reviving this thread!

I would need to know WHY I needed to choose. If no one would tell me, then I wouldn't take anything.

You see a knife and a hunk of cheese laid out on a table in front of you. Which will you choose?
-knife
-cheese
-none
