This is the topic where you can choose a Nancy Drew book to read for next month for the whole group to read and participate in a discussion! If more than one book is chosen for next month, we will have a poll to choose which book will be read. :-) It can be any Nancy Drew book, including the ones that are about Nancy Drew teaming up with the Hardy Boys. :-) Let me know if you have any questions!

Andrea (buttondoll) How about The clue of the Tapping Heels?

Been years since I've read this one. What's the proposed starting date?

Tara ♪ This will be fun. ;-) Now that my school has started back (BLEH! August has barely begun, people!) I may not have as much time to participate, but I will try! I believe the library has this one. Good. :-D

Poor Tara - it's way too early in summer for school to start again! :(

Poor Tara! I hope you still have time to read plenty of books, including Nancy Drew ;-)

Good selection, Andrea! We'll read the Clue of the Tapping Heels! The starting date is today, and will last until September 10 or until we all finish reading it :-)

message 8: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (buttondoll) Cool! Will start soon.

message 9: by Lamarr (new)

Lamarr | 5 comments Excited! :) Going to see if I can find it in the library

message 10: by Tara ♪ (new)

Tara ♪ :) Yay! And, yes, poor me. We have 51 questions about Tom Sawyer due next week, and I have to write three paragraphs about places that shaped my childhood this weekend. Luckily, no algebra homework. That is something to be celebrated! I think I'll get a chance to read it, though. I remember liking this one. I'll be participating. :)

Nice that you can join in, Tara :-) wow, you already have so much homework! Good luck with everything <3

message 14: by Tara ♪ (new)

Tara ♪ I guess it's okay. The unabridged version is a little confusing, though.

Any suggestions for a Nancy Drew book to read this February? I'm thinking it should be one with a valentines theme :-)

message 24: by Divya (new)

Divya (divya_anne) | 17 comments Mod
Two suggestions:
#21 -The Secret in the Old Attic ,
I remember reading this one long back , doesn't have valentine theme though , but in between the mystery ,there is a story about Nancy and Ned and how Nancy feels for Ned .

Another one which i read recently..
#5- The Secret at Shadow ranch
Dirk Valentine hiding a treasure for his beloved Frances before he dies. If i convey more about them , i will revel the spoilers , so being hush...

Hi Everyone! We would love to know your suggestions also ..so name one book which you think best for Feb.
