Thank you, Cathleen. I would recommend the Wild Geese to anyone interested in the cultural and social heritage of Ireland, and Irish-America - an excellent complement to the equally excellent Goodreads Ireland Group!
Congratulations again, Gerry. I signed up to WildGeese but my request seems to be pending and I'm very limited as to what I can do on the site.
I'll start checking it out properly over the coming weeks as I'm up to my ears with work at the moment.

It does. Some heavy editing is need but both are finished. I'll email them to you at some stage tomorrow. It might be the evening time when you get them, though.
Grand, Gerry.
Until tomorrow! :)
Until tomorrow! :)
Congrats Gerard. I already have a copy of the e-book. So much to read and not enough time but I promise to dip into it.
Gerry, congratulations. That's great news. You are right the Wild Geese is a good complement to the excellent Goodreads Ireland group.
Thank you, Caroline - and good luck with your author chat. This Monday, 22nd at 5pm New York time, isn't it?

About 'Blood From a Shadow'
2012. War weary Americans hail the endgame in Iraq and Afghanistan.
But the old enemy, Iran, is more dangerous than ever.
So the war on terror continues, but it must be kept in the shadows now. The Presidential machines cannot allow a mistake, there is an election to be won.
Con Maknazpy is weary too, still searching for his own peace. A hero in his native New York’s famous 69th Regiment, he just wants to retreat into the shadows of the streets he knows so well.
But Maknazpy is no ordinary man, he has been anointed with destiny. It’s in his blood and in the shadows of his soul. And the ghosts of the past and the future mark out that destiny, in blood. Blood that takes him to Ireland, Rome and Istanbul before he finds his own truth in the shadows of his Yonkers childhood.
Maknazpy’s destiny is to be a savior, but can he save himself?
Think Jim Thompson, James M Cain, Chester Himes and Eric Ambler. Reality is warped by confusion and lies, and the hero is always the last to know.
