Was it a new-to-you episode or one you've seen before? Was it a good episode?

Dawn (baseballblondie) | 1166 comments Big Bang Theory. I've not watched most of season 5 and TBS was airing a marathon. And funny as always.

Carissa (Regency Woman) (sparklingangel84) | 0 comments The Unusuals, a cop show starring Jeremy Renner that only lasted 10 episodes. Loved it!

I've never seen this, or even heard of it before, but I'll have to see if I can borrow it - it sounds interesting.

Doctor Who - Tooth and Claw. David Tennant (using his Scottish accent), Queen Victoria and a werewolf - I've seen this one many times, but I just love it. :)

Caitlyn Santi | 811 comments An episode of Sue Thomas F.B.Eye, titled "Simon Says"
One of my most favorite episodes, I've seen it more times than I can count but it never gets old!!! Sue, the main character is targeted by a serial killer. If you enjoy Lynette Eason or Irene Hannon's books, you should definitely check out this show! :D

The last TV show I watched was Psych ~ season one, episode two: "Spellingg Bee". I LOVE this show and have watched that episode countless times. ;)

Megan, I know it's available on Amazon prime for free viewing, if you have that, or, I think the DVD cost is $20 or something. It's so worth tracking it down. Quirky and dysfunctional and awesome! Cleaner than I expected too.

Have you seen the movies?

I just watched, Major Crimes, I DVR'd it from last night. I didn't think I would like this spin-off show from, The Closer, and I still miss Brenda Leigh...but I'm really beginning to love Major Crimes just as much!

I too loved that show from the start, but the last two seasons haven't been as good to me. But it's still funny!

Debbie I'm working through the TV show Alias on Netflix. I'm about halfway through the 3rd season. I love it!!! And what got me started on it was I was reading, Sparkly Green Earrings by Melanie Shankle and she mentioned it being a fav of hers at the time it was on TV.

If you haven't read that book, it is so funny!!!! I haven't finished it yet (it's non-fiction and I just read non-fiction slower) but this book is so funny that I can't hardly get through one chapter without laughing so hard that I'm crying and can't even see the page to read! I go through a lot of tissues reading this book.

We seem to have the same taste in shows as I too watch "Call the Midwife." It took me a couple of episodes to get into it, but now I am hooked. Right now during football season, I am not watching much TV because my husband is "hogging" the large set. Instead I purchased an album containing the ENTIRE nine seasons of "Little House on the Prairie." That's 202 episodes and 9800 minutes of viewing. I just finished season two and am moving on. It is so pure and refreshing! I am being blessed and it was worth my investment. However, when Downton Abbey shows up I may desert the prairie! Unfortunately, we leave for India for three weeks of ministry in January so guess I will miss the beginning episodes. I wonder what Downton Abbey would be like in book form? A new best seller on Goodreads. P.S. if you feel like reading a book, you might like the book I wrote and also my public website at www.facebook.com/chapter29. Blessings! Chapter 29 Revisited

Cathy - Don't get me wrong! I would rather be preaching in India than watching Downton Abbey! This will be our 22nd trip to India in the past 25 years. I love India and am never happier than when we are there. I am now just about finished watching season 3 of "Little House on the Prairie." It is so sweet. They just don't make series like that anymore. If I had a little girl, I would certainly want her to read the books that inspired the video

Debbie The new episode of Castle. It was on last night, I watched it this morning and I'm watching it again with my husband. I know, I watch way too much TV, but most of my shows all start this week! Castle, NCIS, Elementary, Hawaii Five-O, Blue Bloods! I doubt I'll get much reading done!

We watch all but Hawaii Five-O. Four out of five in common, lol. Every now and then we have to fast forward through some parts. We just dropped our cable a couple of weeks ago; :( Only Netflix now.

I loved Sue Thomas. I was sad when it went off the air.

Debbie Yes, I have Netflix and I finally, just yesterday, finished watching the entire series of Alias. If you haven't watch it, it's good. If you like spy/CIA type shows, it's good. You can't just watch one either. One ends up in the air and then the next episode is just sitting there waiting for you. Another GREAT series is Flashpoint. They are a police swat-type team, they try and talk the bad people down before they sometimes have to take them down. Start from the beginning...it's EXCELLENT!!!!!

Several years ago we watched a few of the Alias episodes. I really liked the series. I cannot remember why we didn't continue, something must have come up on the nights it aired. I would love to watch the entire series. I will check out the others you mentioned.

I haven't been watching that show consistently, but I've heard about some of the things that have happened. Can't believe they had Neal die and that Emma is now with Hook. Not a fan of that...
