Ethan or Thayer? **spoiler alert**

In the show I die had shipped Emma and Ethan, but then I read the books and I much preferred Thayer even though he loves Sutton and not Emma. It's just I feel like Ethan in the book is really... bland. Like he's kind and sensitive but I don't find him funny or unpredictable or exciting like I find Thayer. So what does everyone think?
