Jessiqua Wittman Book Trailers are getting to be a big part of social media for authors. For a few minutes, you can capture a reader's imagination with color and sound instead of black-and-white words. They can be made with free, downloadable software, and are easy to share on YouTube.
I'll start this thread with my own book trailer video.
I hope it inspires you all! :)

A post-apocalyptic, adventure novel.

Patricia Hickman (phickmanauthor) | 2 comments Really textured drawings and pretty music too, Jessiqua. I've discovered animoto. I spent a couple of hours making the trailer for Tiny Dancer and it's helped the readers "see" who've just downloaded it free on Amazon this week. The response has been, "I'm going to read this now." And that is the importance of the trailer, building a sense of story. Your trailer does that too!

Neat. Thanks! I looked it up on her profile too. I just wanted to make it easy for anyone else that was interested in her trailer. ;)

I'm going to have to check out animoto now. It looks really interesting! Better than the Windows Movie Maker that I've used.

Kim Brooks (kimontheweb) | 8 comments I enjoy book trailers because you have the ability to make them as riveting and intriguing as you'd like them to be. For example, here's the book trailer to the sequel to my debut Christian fiction novel, He's Fine...But is He Saved: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Hi5fr...
