Ophelia slowed her steps as she turned to look at the just-arriving Dauntless. She watched as all of them jumped off the moving train without hesitation, most of them landing on their knees and a few on their feet. "Crazy kids," she thought to herself as she made her way to the entrance of the school. Being Erudite, she was sensible and poised; not rash and crazy like those dare devils.
Max jumped off the train and looked around the school with disdain. Then she noticed and Erudite girl staring at her. She was in her math class. Her name was.....Ophelia! That's right, Ophelia. Max was now determined to catch Ophelia and ask her why she was staring at the Dauntless like some kind of freak show...
Carley turns the corner and sees a dauntless girl heading towards a erudite girl, knowing there might be problems she heads over towards them
"HEY!" yells Max, still halfway across the field to the Upper School. Max approaches Ophelia and asks, "Who do you think you are? Why are you staring at me and my faction?" Max waits for an answer, not caring if she's late for class.
Zoe turns around at the sound of a yell behind her, but it wasn't meant to catch her attention. Just a dauntless messing with an erudite. Curious about what's going to happen, she sits on the steps a reasonable distance away so that she can hear everything.
Ophelia stepped back at a Dauntless girl's sudden approaching. The girl seemed to be angry at her staring at them. Ophelia stood nonchalantly, folding her arms. "I'm my own person, and my eyes are free look at my surroundings; even your crazy cluster of a faction," she said matter-of-factly. "And besides, you guys are basically begging for attention, right? What with your train-jumping, sky-diving selves." That was kind of rude, Ophelia thought to herself. She thought about apologizing, but that would only hurt her pride in the end. What was the point in taking it back anyway? Most of that stuff was already true.
Carley approaches the two girls, both of them seeming familiar, maybe cuz she has a class with them or something
"My crazy cluster of a faction? Talk about crazy, your faction just sits inside all day! They never do anything except for stare at books! Get a life and quit wishing you were us blue-jacket."
"As if. The only thing you'll ever amount to being is a security guard," Ophelia snapped. Inside, she gasped at how rude the comment she just spat out was. You're better than that. She assumed that being around the Dauntless girl was provoking this unnecessary behavior. In the corner of her eye, she saw an Amity girl approach them. She looked familiar; maybe she had a class with her? "Hello," Ophelia directed towards the Amity girl. "May I help you?"
Um, actually I was just making sure everything is okay over here, blushing as she realized how nosey that made her sound.
"It's none of your business," says Max hatefully. "And at least a security guard is better than being a little scientist's gopher." She then stormed off, leaving them both.
"Oh, everything's fine. I was just leaving," Ophelia said, meeting the Dauntless girl's eyes one last time before turning around. She hurriedly joined a group of Erudite girls she knew, and they walked toward the entrance of the school.
Carley turns around and sees the dauntless girl from earlier, then turns back around to face the front hoping the dauntless girl doesn't notice.
Ophelia made her way into the classroom and found herself a seat near the front. She tried her best to avoid the Dauntless girl's gaze and turned her attention to the board.
Zoe awkwardly walks into class late. As she heads for the only open seat near the Erudite girl, she notices the other two from earlier are here too. "Wow," she thinks to herself. "This might just be an interesting class today what with all the tension between these three."
While waiting for the teacher, Carley walks over to the dauntless girl she met earlier and said, "I'm sorry about earlier, you were right, it was none of my business.
((Sorry I didn't respond awhile guys, I took a trip to Chicago :)))
"Whatever," she said softer than before, "just don't do it again."
"Whatever," she said softer than before, "just don't do it again."
((Fun!, how was it))Carley turns around and then, makes her way towards her seat pausing before she sat down, trying to make since of the events that had just transpired.
