Kristen (manoskm) ...Not sure how I feel about a lot of those casting decisions.

Kristen (manoskm) That one struck me as especially odd too.

Kyle | 60 comments I actually think that the casting of Apollo is supposed to reflect how unbelievably narcissistic and vain he is. Oliver Platt isn't anyone who would traditionally be thought of as a Greek God, but Apollo is so into himself that he would see himself as an Adonis regardless.

I am enjoying the book, but knowing the cast of the movie is making it hard to visualize for myself. Oh well...

Robin | 21 comments Sorry if this is slightly off-topic, but it reminded me of how Kevin Youkilis, first baseman currently riding the Yankees' DL, was called "Euclis: the Greek God of Walks" in Michael Lewis' book Moneyball. Youkilis is also kind of a big guy, which is why Red Sox then-manager Terry Francona was quoted "I've seen Youkilis in the shower, and I wouldn't call him the Greek god of anything." Just goes to show how the title of Greek god or goddess can be misused, I guess.
