Cassie has said that the brown-haired woman in white dress who spoke to Magnus and seemed familiar to Clary in CoG, was Tessa.

Jocelyn said that a female warlock took the place of the Iron sister in Clary's ceremony when her protection runes were applied, so my theory is that it was Tessa. After all since Magnus arranged the whole thing I think it's safe to say that the Silent brother is the one from the end of CP2 (you get it if you read it, no spoilers), so it makes sense. Magnus knew he could trust both of them to keep the secret.

I hope she appears in CoHF, but I doubt it. Cassie said that the epilogue of CP2 takes place either during CoHF or after it; we'll find out which when the books comes out. I really don't want to spoil the end for anyone so I won't write exactly what makes me think she won't. She was unaware of something I believe will happen during CoHF, so my guess is no, we won't see her there.

Yes. I emailed Cassie and she said that Tessa and Jem will both appear in The City of Heavenly Fire.

Seriously? That's great!!!!!! I miss Tessa so much, and omg the idea of Jem appearing with Tessa in CoHF makes me cry gbrfesfgbhd

After CP2 I have ejected TID from my brain. I cannot handle any more very emphasized cross-overs.

I figured Tessa would appear, although she already did in CoG. She just didn't have any lines.

It will be sad if she appears in the same manner again - just a random stranger who disappears in the shadows. Am I the only one who wishes for Ragnor to come back from the dead? I became so attached to him since The Bane Chronicles! He was a really awesome guy :(

CP2 SPOILER

Cassie gave us a spoiler of CoHF in which Issabelle asks when did brother Zacharia get so hot, so i think tessa and jem will appear and not just as strangers

It doesn't make sense though. The snippet Cassie gave us doesn't make sense. The CP2 epilogue occurs after the final battle, and Jem changes back to a shadowhunter the day before the epilogue in CP2 was set.

I think the snippet of Isabelle means something else.

Well, Cassie has said that CP2 epilogue may take place during or after CoHF, so we still don't know. Jem claims that he got cured with the help of the Lightwoods, Fairchild and Heronlale, so I think the snippet means exactly that - he becomes normal again during CoHF and Izzy get pleasantly surprised by the result :P

What makes you think CP2 epilogue takes place a day after the final battle?

My theory is that CoHF occurs before the CP2 epilogue, and that during CoHF Jem is healed (or he is healed before CoHF and we find out during CoHF). I don't think Tessa will appear in CoHF because in the CP2 epilogue she had no idea that Jem had been healed, and as we know from the teaser with Izzy Jem is himself in CoHF. I also heard on some other discussions that Cassandra Clare isn't going to spoil any of the series i.e. she isn't going to spoil the ending of ID in MI by letting us know what happens (in this case (view spoiler)[ Tessa and Jem getting back together (hide spoiler)] )

I agree. I think the epilogue takes place after the final battle, so that there are no spoilers. As well, Jem said that he would tell her a story involoving the Herondales, Fairchilds, and Lightwoods, implying that Tessa knows nothing or very little about what happened.

Aleksiel: I don't know who you are talking to, but if it is me, I didn't say thr CP2 epilogue takes place a day after. The first 5 books in TMI take place in 2007, while the CP2 epilogue takes place in 2008. And Jem said that he changed the day before he met with Tessa.

So unless CoHF takes place in 2008, I don't see how Jem could have changed back in that book for Izzy to see.

It does? I didn't notice it being said it was 2008, guess you are right then. It makes more sense for the epilogue to be after CoHF anyway. Hope we see more of Jem! And real Jem :P Getting all hot again, as Izzy stated in a snippet!
